A studio apartment in a Craftsman style home built in the 1920s. It is located on the edge of Galveston's Historic District. We're close to some good restaurants and within walking distance of a supermarket. The historic Strand District is a mile away, a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive. The beach is close by, 3 minutes to family friendly Stewart Beach The studio is below our main house and has a low ceiling. Tall guests (over 6 ft) may be less comfortable. Most folks will find it very cozy.

If you don't want to eat at one of the numerous restaurants within walking distance, you can cook yourself a fantastic meal in the fully stocked kitchen or grill outside on the gourmet Viking grill. This is a studio apartment with private entrance in beautiful, eclectic Bacliff. You're right on Galveston bay with an opportunity to wake up to Texas' most beautiful sunrises or just let the gulf air give you a moment of escape! Bacliff is close to Galveston, Kemah Boardwalk, NASA, and (depending on traffic!) a 35 minute drive to downtown Houston or the Texas Medical Center.

Exit through the kitchenette straight down to the river, where you can relax around the fire pit, fish in the Bayou or paddle a kayak (or 3). Property is raised up amongst the trees, surrounded by nature and peace. Can sleep 4 but best suited for one couple, families or 3 close friends.

We are extremely close to all the essential highways which means cheap Ubers to most places!

Right outside of the Downtown Houston area, minutes from Texas Medical Center, close to all the professional sports stadiums, The Museum district, and many of the Houston Universities/Colleges (University of Houston, Rice, Texas Southern University, St. Thomas, and Houston Baptist/Christian University). Metro bus line and rail is near.
