Location is away from most so it was very quiet.. Nice creek that flows by. Will stay again

Miners Cabin was a very nice place. It had beautiful scenery, it was peaceful and relaxing after a day if sightseeing in the local tourist areas and enjoyed seeing wildlife while staying there. The hot tub was a great for the grandkids and adults as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to return! Jackie was accommodating, and the cabin had everything we could have needed. Watching the sunset from the hot tub, sitting by the fireplace, walking around the neighborhood, hiking various trails (or attempting due to mud and ice), and taking in the beautiful nearby sights were just a few highlights.

It was perfect for our girls weekend! Beautiful, clean, peaceful, and private! Would definitely stay here again!

the host was great to communicate with. very nice guy. very quiet community. great location. the bedsheets could be replace more often so it doesn't smell. The sauna broke down on us. besides that the place is great

We stayed here for a bachelor party. The house was very nice with nice amenities. It was an easy drive to downtown Deadwood. Peter was very responsive in answering questions we came across from when we booked to when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The road was a beautiful drive and enjoyable to drive down with new gravel and freshly graded. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The rooms were comfortable. The space was everything we wanted.

Cozy cabin in a great location! We were traveling to visit the Black Hills and nearby national parks and monuments. We found this location to be very convenient and we loved the town of Deadwood! The cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials. I will call out that there is no door to the bathroom. The toilet and shower are located around a hall and although not within sight from the main room, there is not physical barrier offering privacy. While this worked out for us, I would have preferred privacy of a door or at minimum a curtain. This was still a 5 Star experience for us, but felt it was worth noting.

This house in the mountains was exactly what my soul needed—and what my back needed after hauling kids and groceries uphill (worth it). Peaceful, cozy, and so quiet I started to wonder if I’d accidentally wandered into a Hallmark movie. The views? Unreal. The vibe? Immaculate. The only downside is I had to leave and return to reality.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

This home was exactly what I needed to relax and enjoy my time with my family. It offered plenty of space, was very clean, and had a beautiful view. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect retreat. Plus, there was plenty of bedrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, peaceful place that overlooked a stream. Pictures were accurate. Jennifer the host was quick with responding and very friendly.

Cabin 4 was clean and ready for us when we got there late. They left everything for me to just check in and rest right away. The bathrooms were just a shorts walk away and were very clean. The cabin was everything we need for a trip. Lara responded to everything I sent over with no problems on our end. Would come back.

Just absolutely love this place! As a frequent visitor to the Black Hills we get an Air BNB cabin about 6 or 8 times a year and this was in the top 5% of places we have stayed for sure! Loved the location and the 2 live creeks right on the property that feed into trout ponds! Forgot to bring a fishing pole but we did see some fish jump out of the water so they must be in there! Thanks again to Carmen and especially to co host Julie who was very responsive and accommodating!

We just had our second stay at Misty Haven, and it was even better than the first! We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back again. The cabin is incredibly well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The property itself is stunning—so peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Derito and Margaret are such a delight and truly add to the charm of the experience. Thank you for making it another amazing stay!

The little cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay and felt like a little home away from home. It was so peaceful to go and relax after a day down town, and it's only right outside of town. We loved the private hot tub and the amount of privacy for having another cabin next door. Will definitely book again!

I highly recommend staying here! It’s so cozy and the perfect get away with everything you need and super close to deadwood! The host is fast at responding to anything you need! Absolute best place loves it so much!! Will definitely be back again ☺️

absolutely beautiful place to stay. clean, easy to find. 30 minutes to all main attractions, like Mount Rushmore, needles hwy etc.

Loved the location. we drove from KY and brought our rzr to ride on trails so it was all easy access from the cabin. It didn't have a/c but we adapted pretty easy with advice from the owner. Very peaceful. Owner was very helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who loves the Black Hills like we do! You're smack dab in the middle of those beautiful ponderosa pines. A+

Our family enjoyed our stay. The pictures accurately described the cabin and there was plenty of space for the 8 of us. We would definitely stay there again. The hot tub was nice to have after a long day of sightseeing!

The place was awesome. very peaceful and secluded. I would recommend to anyone traveling to the Black Hills! Misten was very helpful and responsive!

2nd stay at Gaylord’s cabin, and nothing but good things to write about. Great accommodations, great price, & great host. Gaylord was extremely fast to respond to any messages we had, & that responsiveness was appreciated.
