My second stay with Jo during a week of working in the area, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. Relaxing surroundings with plenty of space and kitchen facilities make a stay away from home so much better. I would recommend Jo's garden cabin very highly indeed.

A very pleasant stay. The nearby railway was extremely quiet. When we arrived there was coffee, tea, milk, sugar and even complementary biscuits waiting. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Our dog enjoyed the garden. We would definitely stay here again.

The location and layout of the Barn were perfect for our 2 night stay with friends. The views and weather were lovely so we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck to eat & play cards etc. An outside light would have been nice in the evenings and the deck itself could do with a bit of t l c as it is a main feature of the property. There were fairy lights but no obvious way of turning them on. Overall we had a great stay with plenty of scenic walks, pubs etc nearby. Richard is a most helpful and friendly host and we would definitely recommend The Barn.

Enjoyed my stay in this well equipped self contained space. The description and pics accurately represent the studio. Ross was helpful with a couple of queries when I Rrived. I considered this to be good value accommodation.

An absolute gem! Cosy cottage with a magical private garden. Such a peaceful spot perfect for relaxing by the warmth of the chimenea under the stars. Loved the atmospheric boatyard & great pub on your doorstep. Surrounding suffolk has loads to offer - great walks, great food, farm shops & more. A perfect weekend getaway. Thanks for having us, highly recommend & we will be returning.

A lovely cabin with everything you could need in a peaceful location. Katie was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions I had.

I headed to Rayleigh for an in person session with my personal trainer and the location is just perfect for me because it's literally 2 mins walk from the gym getting groceries are super easy as well as there's a huge Sainsbury's across the road check in was quick and easy and the place is exactly the same as shown on the photos (the bedroom smells really good as well) the only thing which was a bit weird for me is the fact that I was essentially walking into someone's backyard through their side doors and live there for a night without even knowing the house owner but me as an introvert it's actually perfect cuz after a full day of traveling and training I just wanted a quiet and clean place to rest 👍

Sadly we overstayed our stay by one night by mistake and me Nyree at 11:45pm to explain I had made an error and will settle the following day. we dtripped the beds, put the linen downstairs and the rubbish bags. Sadly we left a window open and left the annexe unlocked but given we left at 7 am and it's a locked gated property we did not think there was any risk. sadly and end of a short break spoilt by the hosts comments given we had only just got home to deal with the outstanding amount.

Rob & Helen are the perfect hosts. The Lodge was comfortable & very clean exactly as described. We enjoyed it so much we will definitely be returning for another stay. Moulton is a beautiful village for a quiet break away from the hustle & bustle of city life. Once again thank you Rob & Helen.

Jane was one of the best hosts I have ever stayed with, he converted stables was just a beautiful place to stay, everything was finished to a high standard, I would definitely stay again when in the area and would have no problem recommending James place to family and friends.

A very spacious and airy room with lovely fluffy duvet and smart bathroom The yogurts and granola are a thoughtful addition making breakfast easy and no rush to leave Hannah and Matt were friendly hosts and we had great recommendations of where to visit and to eat Would thoroughly recommend and visit again

I very much enjoyed my stay, minimal road traffic, extremely pleasant rural setting. And the bonus of a London linked Railway station 500 metres away Good feeling of light inside the property, in my opinion helped by the high ceilings. Perfect location, we was attending a wedding locally so booked it for a weekend away, Finn communicated with us very well and let us know about how to get into the accommodation late in the evening! Everything was included in the Airbnb and didn’t need to think about anything ! The little touches were perfect, we enjoyed the hot tub a lot! We will definitely be back!

This was an absolutely perfect location when we needed a base while my daughter was in hospital. It was an easy walk and saved trying to find space in the hospital car park. It was cosy and warm and provided a perfect haven for myself and my husband during a difficult week. Pauline kindly let my other daughter stay at short notice on the sofa bed when she unexpectedly came to join us during our stay. Thank you Pauline and I would highly recommend Dolly Cottage to anyone who needs to stay in the Colchester area.

Such a lovely time my parents had staying in this charming cozy home! Chrissie is amazing, such a wonderful host! Helpful, happy and an absolute pleasure to deal with! Even allowed my parents to check in early at no extra cost! My parents loved their weekend stay here, and can’t wait to go back! Everything was spotlessly clean, it had everything you need and they felt right at home! I’d definitely recommend this charming cozy home to anyone wanting to stay near Clacton on sea! Such a gem!

Lovely self contained home from home accomodation. Spacious and airy with everything you could need. Quiet and peaceful location with an outside seating area to enjoy too. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be booking again when we visit family in the area. Next time we will probably go on one of the lovely local walks too.

Sally and Tony are lovely friendly hosts, as were their dogs. Nothing is too much trouble and the cabin is spot on. The little extras touches are really classy as was the bottle of Prosecco for our wedding anniversary. Thank you both for making our stay so welcoming. Really enjoyed it, and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Frinton.
