Beautiful place! We had an unbelievable short vacation: Hiking with breathtaking views, Starry night in the hot tub, fresh coffee on the dock, Complete quietness or a bumping small town brewery, Warm cozy fire to take the chill off a fun filled day. We had an eventful trip on the well used canoe.. The canoe took a lot of water on quickly but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the gorgeous, huge lake. There was some lady bugs in the cabin but nothing more then was advertised and expected with the age of the lovely cabin. Highly recommend. Will most likely attempt to book again with warmer weather!

Nature lovers paradise!! We are bird nerds and nature lovers, so this location was perfection. Very quiet location. Super private. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well both nights. The kitchen functioned beautifully and the entire house was extremely clean. There was kindeling in the fire place all set up for us to use and everthing we needed to add to the fire. Suitable lighting throughout and lovely art work in each room. Tastefully styled home. Comfortable with high end (heated floors in the bathroom). The hot tub was 10 out of 10, just like everything else! We really hope we are able to stay here again. Holly & Shaun

We booked this place for our anniversary weekend and it was nothing but amazing. The views are incredible & we got to see so much wildlife during our stay. The inside of the house feels like home. It is so beautifully decorated and cozy. We cannot wait to come back and have another peaceful, relaxing weekend.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

Beautiful place. The important stuff they've knocked out of the park: a. Very comfortable bed!! b. Clean; c. Thoughtfully stocked/equipped bathroom and kitchen; d. Homey (including prepping the wood stove to go) without being cluttered; e. Easy to get to and communicate with the hosts. I highly recommend Colleen and Sylvain's place.

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

What a great little cabin to spend a cozy weekend! Waking up to such beautiful views of the lake it's just something else. We loved the hot tub overlooking the lake while it snowed. The fireplace by the bay window it's just so cozy. Charlotte let us stay a little longer because we arrived late, she was really kind and thoughtful! Highly recommended to escape the hustle of the city for a few days and disconnect!

This place is so cute! the perfect winter getaway. Jessica was very gracious with check out during a storm, it really put our minds at ease. We really want to see this place in the summer, so we already booked our dates!

We had a lovely girls' trip at this beautiful cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The views were absolutely wonderful, and we loved taking in the scenery throughout our stay. The nearby hiking trails were a great bonus—perfect for getting outside and exploring the area. My dog also had a wonderful time! It was the perfect retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

The warmth of a crackling fire and the comfort of a cozy setting made for a truly unforgettable retreat. This hidden gem is the perfect haven for those seeking a peaceful escape from the world.

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

We had the most amazing time and made a lifetime of memories!

We had a great extended long weekend at Gabriella’s and we truly loved our stay! Couldn’t get over the gorgeous sunsets every evening. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed the beautiful views every night. We also liked the close proximity to Bon Echo where we hiked and explored! It was nice quiet lake. Thank you for hosting us!

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay! we enjoying hanging out on the dock and saying hi to all the animals. the kitchen had everything we needed as well.

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It's cozy and very comfortable. Beds are great. The kitchen is super well equipped. The deck is a peaceful place where you can enjoy nature. The restaurant in town is very good. Anne-Marie was very nice and lovely. We will be back for sure!

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!
