Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

This three bedroom one bath cabin is located steps to beautiful Otsego lake with access across the street where you can swim, fish or try out kayaking! With a cozy up north cabin feel you also have the amenities of home with Wi-Fi for streaming, a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and downtown Gaylord just a 9 minute drive away! There is an abundance of golf courses close by with some just up the road: Michaywe Pines, The Ridge, and The Loon!

Remote, off-grid cabin w/pond on 120 acres + goats

Pull the plug at this unique and tranquil getaway that we call "Elysium Heritage Farm". Experience groomed trails, ponds, canals & marshes on our 120 acres of woods & wetlands. View multitudes of "flora and fauna" along with the fainting goats, chickens, rabbits & other critters of "The Farm". Go for a canoe or kayak trip. The cabin has NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER but solar lighting illuminates nicely and there are convenient private showers available offsite. Potable water provided.

Cozy 2 bedroom cabin on Tawas Lake

Papa's place is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that over looks Tawas Lake, great for fishing, kayaking (we have two for you to use) & bird watching. The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, open living space with a 50" smart TV and wood stove for those cool spring & fall nights. The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. Come for a night or stay the week on Michigan’s sunrise side.

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Long Lake Cottage in the Woods

Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Outdoor paradise! 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft plus a pull out queen sofa give lots of room! Cathedral ceilings with knotty pine everywhere! 0.3 miles from public Boat Launch and beach on beautiful all sports sand bottom Long Lake. Great fishing! Near trails for walking or 4 wheeling. 2 wineries, a microbrewery and many great restaurants/bars nearby. Outdoor camp fire ring and grill. This is Michigan up north as it was meant to be!

If your looking for a private oasis this is your place! We are on a private road, few neighbors, full time residents. We hope you appreciate the aesthetics and solitude. Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. Amazing sunsets. Peaceful mornings. Large windows to enjoy the view . Indoor bathroom with an outside shower. (No inside shower or tub) Two beds in the loft. Picnic table and patio set with 4 chairs. Firepit area near beach. Quiet, peaceful area. No parties please.
