Olga’s flat turned out to be exactly as described and exactly as we had hoped. It is just inside the gateway into the Convento, which seems to have a lot of other holiday flats in it. The building is beautiful, the (unheated) pool is beautiful and a very cool place to hang out on a few sunloungers or the grass. Olga provided bath towels on request at no extra cost. The apartment hosted us as a family of 5 very well. At times a little damp, but it was very clean and well equipped. Check in time was flexible (Olga allowed us to arrive early at 2pm) and check out was easy as we left the keys in the flat. The location is a walk of less than 10 mins to the centre of Tavira, it is just round the corner from the fresh indoor market, 5 mins walk from a small grocery shop and on the doorstep for the salt flats and walk/road out to Caia Quatro Aguas. We ate (& drank) well at The Black Anchor Irish pub (try the onion rings), O Noel (try the clams) and Mira (great tapas). We hope to return!

Just loved Sandra’s place. So peaceful and we felt right at home among the lemon trees. The bed was comfortable and the cooking facilities were perfect. You can walk to the little supermarket in about 10 minutes down a track which was perfect to collect fresh bread in the morning and give our little dog a walk off lead. Sandra and Miguel were always responsive to any questions we had. Tavira is about an 8 minute drive away and there’s a large free car park just over the bridge. It’s worth visiting Santa Luzia too which is about 18 minutes by car and also there’s lovely beaches in the opposite direction. The Quinta has a soul if its own - so enjoyed my morning yoga practise. A wonderful place to stay. ❤️❤️

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

We had a fantastic stay in Fuseta even during a major power cut. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Antonio’s place is lovely for a couple, everything is as described.

Nous avons été charmés par la maison proposée par Carmen. Carmen est une hôte exceptionnelle, gentille et amicale. À l’arrivée, elle nous a accueillis en faisant le tour de la grande maison pour nous donner toutes les explications nécessaires. Elle nous a également conseillés sur les visites des environs. Le séjour s’est très bien déroulé… nous avons noté cette adresse pour un futur séjour !

Nuno en Ana zijn geweldig vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheren. Het huis is voorzien van alle ( en nog meer) gemakken; echt alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Wij hebben genoten van het huis, de tuin en de locatie!!!

It was an amazing, luxurious and beautiful experience. Helena and her family went above and beyond to assist us with absolutely everything. We were treated with kindness and respect. It’s a very calm, safe and relaxing space. Each of us had privacy when we wanted and all coming together at the other end of the spectrum, so many areas we took advantage of. Walking the orchards, gorgeous pool area, dinning inside and out, a fantastic and comfortable seating area out side and inside at night with a warming fire place. A choice of cooking inside or bbq’ing outside. The use of words like ‘fantastic’ ‘fabulous’ describe the compound completely. Enjoy!!!

Great location, so easy to walk around Tavira. The sun deck was a pleasant place to relax, even though it wasn't warm enough for the pool! The bed was very comfy, and we didn't find the outside noise to be a problem at this time of year. Francisco was very responsive when there was a problem. Close to a wide range of restaurants and nice view of the town over the river.

A few minutes walking to city center, private and shaded car parking and great serene vibe in the common garden and pool makes this place a gem if a find, definitely be back for more in the future.

Lovely apartment in peaceful surroundings. Pool was lovely. Restaurants and supermarket that sold everything you needed nearby. Tavira is lovely, well worth visiting and the ferry to the beach was another lovely day out

Helle, freundliche Wohnung mit einem schönen, sonnigen Balkon. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man ist sehr schnell an der Uferpromenade. In den Wintermonaten braucht es allerdings zwei Tage, bis die Wohnung auf eine normale Temperatur aufgeheizt ist. Ein großer Vorteil ist auch, dass sich der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus befindet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft von Teresa ist eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung im Herzen einer Ferienhausanlage. Sie ist sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wirklich gleich wohl. Teresa hat bei Fragen schnell geantwortet. In der Wohnung ist wirklich alles vorhanden was man brauchen könnte. Von der mehr als ausreichend ausgestatteten Küche, über hilfreiches Strandzubehör bis zu Spiele und Sandspielsachen....Sie ist sauber und wir haben sogar bei 14tägigen Aufenthalt frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche zur Halbzeit bekommen! Die Ferienanlage ist sehr gepflegt, groß aber doch familiär und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Pool, Lokale, kleiner Supermarkt, Waschsalon... und eine Rezeption die 24/7 erreichbar ist. Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist der wunderschöne Badestrand! Dort gibt es Lokale, Toiletten und mietbare Liegen sowie Bereiche für freies Liegen. Erreicht wird er zu Fuß oder mit einer alten Bummelbahn! (kostenfrei). Die Bahn war für unseren 2Jährigen und uns jeden Tag ein Highlight

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Tavira. Das Appartement von Veronica ist gerade für Familien wirklich super. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist äußerst freundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, besten Dank!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans le logement de Derek à Santa Luzia. L appartement est calme, très joliment décoré, fonctionnel, parfaitement propre, la literie est très confortable et rien ne manque. Il est situé dans une petite maison de ce magnifique petit village de pêcheurs où tout est propice à la détente...L accueil par Inge, les conseils, les attentions, tout était au top ! Nous recommandons très fortement ce logement.

Mario's home can only be described as paradise! This is one of our TOP Airbnb experiences ever; possibly our new #1. We adored it. You enter an oasis of impeccable design. Every inch well thought out & built with love. There are several homes on Mario's property, & yet we had total privacy. The decor inside & out is gorgeous. The bed may be the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Impeccably clean w/ absolutely everything you could ever want or need. There are 5 star hotels that don't provide this many amenities! Forget 5 stars - Mario's home is a 10 star. We adored Mario. He was available whenever we needed something; questions were answered immediately with kindness, care and compassion. It was like staying with a dear friend who made sure we had space, peace and quiet. We adored Mario's friendly sweet dog! We opted to uber during our stay; ample cars & great pricing. Easier & cheaper than car rental. And that rooftop terrace! Unobstructed views of sea & mountains. Heaven! Wow!

Great location able to walk to lots of local restaurants and bars. Short walk to catch ferry to beautiful beach in Cabanas.

Sehr schönes kleines Haus mit Garten in ruhiger Lage und Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür! Von hier aus ist alles, Bäcker, Supermarkt, Gaststätten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.

Lovely friendly approachable hosts, nice to chat to despite the language barrier. The unit was small but it had a deck and best of all lots of space for our two miniature schnauzers to run around and play with the other guests dogs. We were there during a blackout and our hosts came down to run the pump with their vehicle so everyone could have showers.

Lovely 3 night stay. Great location in the heart of Tavira. Ground floor apartment in a traditional house, with an enclosed garden. Main bedroom is light and comfortable with view of garden. Good shower in bathroom. Large living room with French doors onto the garden patio, Kitchen is functional and well equipped to allow self catering. There is construction next door and some noise on weekdays, but it was not intrusive. Very quiet in evenings. Maria was friendly and a great host. We had an enjoyable stay.

Estupenda estancia en Cabañas!!!Era la primer vez que acudíamos y todo estuvo fenomenal…. Si tengo que poner un pero era la poca presión de agua que había en una de las duchas pero ya estaba avisada anteriormente … por lo demás todo genial …. Teníamos de todo … todo ordenado y limpio. Muchas gracias Alison
