The 5-star views were simply breathtaking—sunrises over the hills, stars that felt close enough to touch, and a sense of stillness that’s hard to come by. What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, with every corner showing care and thoughtfulness. I was especially impressed by the generous breakfast provisions and snacks—everything was fresh, high-quality, and made me feel completely looked after. The friendly resident animals added an extra layer of warmth and charm to my stay. Whether it was watching kangaroos graze nearby or being greeted by the gentle farm animals, it was a wholesome, grounding experience I won’t forget. Smokey Cape is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to return

Didn't get to meet Helen but her partner John greeted us and gave us incredibly valuable information about the town. The house was clean and the renovations have retained the beauty of the original build. John was very hospitable and gave us a great run down of the renovations. Highly recommend.

Kim and Colin are great gem quality host as we are lucky to stay with these senior people with utmost care and affection.They welcome with British and Australian lifestyle to be more valuable understanding of history.The dogs are friendly and quiet, i felt it's my privilege to spend time with them.Thank you so much.

Thank you Margaret for the lovely stay. The home was very stylish, modern, clean & tidy & so very close to the Sports Dome which we were back & forth from over our weekend stay. Air-con was a life saver for the gorgeous weather in Tamworth during our stay.
