This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our few days in Pamela's cottage, the location is ideal for walking into Bakewell as well as driving to other places to visit, such as Chatsworth House which was wonderful. Pamela was an excellent trend lunch considerate and attentive host, answering any questions efficiently and checking in with us during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this cottage for a short stay in Bakewell.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Much bigger than we expected. We had everything we needed and the energy here was perfect, we felt like this was a home away from home for us. Everything was clean. Communication with Melanie was perfect and we felt we could reach out with whatever we needed. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you ⭐️ 🩷 ⭐️

A really great place to stay whilst doing activities around the Peaks! Parking more limited but we always managed a space with the permit being very handy. Lots of shared space which was great for socialising, D&D, and playing games and having tea together. Plenty of space in the bedrooms too and bathrooms all in a good condition. Ideal location right in the centre of Bakewell for easy access to restaurants, cafes and pubs. Host was always very good at communicating and friendly, offering early check in and late check out which was very kind! Would highly recommend if looking for a Peak District base with friends or family.

Felicity was great from the start! Very helpful with information about the cottage. The cottage was perfect and peaceful, amazing place to relax and unwind after a full day with 4 children at alton towers! Everything was clean. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay :), will definitely look at making this our place to stay when we do our trips to Alton :)

Great property with everything we needed for an overnight stay as part of a bigger trip. The accommodation is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the shower is ace. Excellent use of space and we enjoyed reading about the history of the building. The outdoor areas are well landscaped and we love the greenhouse and the rooftop terrace. The hot chocolate station is a neat idea and we liked seeing the art when we pulled the bed down. The location is ideal for Buxton, Solomon's Temple, Lud's Church and the wider Peak District. We didn't need to use it on this occasion, but the electric vehicle charging point is useful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

What a lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you need in a home away from home. Little touches like the forget me not box and honesty box with holiday essentials should you forget anything (which we did!) was welcomed. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the shortbread biacuits and bottle of fizz was a nice touch Beautiful walks literally on the doorstep and easy access to the Tissington trail make this cottage a great place to stay in the Peaks.

Pamela was very helpful when we I needed to communicating with her. The cottage was beautifully clean and perfect for a long weekend with family. Thank you so much again.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.
