Talbingo is the perfect country escape. On the edge of the Kosciuszko National Park, Talbingo is located between Blowering Dam in the north and Talbingo Dam to the south making it the perfect spot for boating and fishing, walking tracks and bike tracks suitable for all skill levels. The Selwyn Snow Resort, a 50-minute drive, offers gentle slopes and a snow park for tubing and tobogganing. The Yarrangobilly Caves, a 35-40mins drive, offers cave tours, self guided walks and a thermal pool.

The Kabahna

Sleeps 6 adults and 2 children The Kabahna backs onto the golf course / tennis courts. Starlink Internet. Out the back gate into the Talbingo country club. There is Chinese and Australian meals. Dine on the front deck overlooking the mountains and water. The house has a wood fire with wood supplied. We have a reverse cycle in the dining room kitchen with evaporative A/C through all bedroom's lounge room and kitchen. Ceiling fans in dining room and lounge room. We have 2 toilets.

Glenburnie Cottage – Winery Escape in Tumbarumba

It’s quiet, open and grounded. Light the fire, cook a proper meal, and settle in with a bottle of wine while the day winds out. In winter, the cold sets in and the fire does its job. In summer, it’s long evenings outside and clear skies overhead. You’re five minutes from town and close to the mountain bike trails, but once you’re here, it feels a long way from anywhere. This isn’t a polished wine country retreat. It’s a place to slow down, breathe it in, and spend time properly.

Two Camel B&B 688 Little River Rd, Tumut

Yes we have a camel ( but only one now 😞 ) My B&B is in the beautiful Goobarragandra Valley 12 kilometres from Tumut. I am ideally located at the northern end of the Snowy Mountains to explore and enjoy all the region has to offer. Our immediate surrounds offer fantastic views, great bird watching and fishing. We are able to accommodate 2 adults and a small child under 2 years of age only. If your child is older then 2 please contact us first as we have a portacot only.
