Amanda was a lovely host. She was very responsive and helpful when we messaged. The house is deceptively big and there's plenty of room to chill and get ready for busy days. It is very well stocked with plenty of kitchen equipment for if you decide to cook at home. The beds are all doubles and they're very comfy with tonnes of blankets to keep extra cosy if you like! The area is nice with a big beach. We did find that there isn't a great lot to do, so we found ourselves driving quite a lot but if you're a walker, it would be perfect with all the coastal paths. Diamond pizza is a fab place to get a quick bite after a long day so we would definitely recommend there if you're a fan of a mucky tea! If you're wanting to explore the Northumberland coast and find yourself in Bamburgh, we would definitely recommend Creel and Reel seafood trailer for som delicious locally sourced seafood! All in all we have had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found Amanda's place the perfect getaway!

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

An absolutely wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, cozy, and even more charming than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. Great option, suggest booking ahead to all sit down restaurants, but plenty of local places with wonderful food. Fry-Fry in Wooler our favorite. We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

We had a great stay. The apartment is beautiful, immaculately clean and so well located for Cullercoats seaside and Whitley Bay attractions. The decor is beautiful and has been done to a very high specification- it is even nicer than the photos. We would recommend Riley’s Fish Shack (or course), Jam Jar cinema in Whitley Bay attractions- a wonderful independent cinema with a lovely lounge bar, ferry from North to South Shields and the Cullercoats Coffee cafe around the corner. Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Beautiful place in a lovely quiet road. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic location beside Northumberland Park, 10 minutes walk to beach, also plenty of shops within walking distance. Host was great, got back straight away with any questions. This was our second stay here and we will definitely stay again when we’re in the area. Highly recommend.

Fantastic flat, spacious and bright. Location is perfect, 30 seconds to the main square and 30 seconds the other way to a lovely walk along the River Tweed.

Anne and Norman’s place was wonderful! Quiet, clean, easy to get around by bus, train or Uber/Taxi. I had a terrific time and was able to get to every place I wanted to visit via public transit. Shops for grocery was a short walk away. Norman and Anne were the most friendly and lovely people you would ever meet. Thank you so much! 😊

The NEST is a beautiful space. Immaculately clean, well-equipped and super comfortable. Right in the middle of town meant no car needed. A bit cold for the terrace, but on warmer days it would be a beautiful space to sit and drink a glass of wine or two (which Lesley kindly provided for us). We were fortunate enough to meet Lesley as we arrived a little early and she was kind enough to let us leave our bags before check-in. A wealth of local knowledge, friendly, professional and clearly loves both the town and The NEST. She has every right to be proud of it. We had a fantastic time there and wouldn’t look anywhere else if our travels take us to Berwick again. Thanks Lesley.

Beautifully furnished apartment. Spacious rooms and great view of the bay from the lounge and bedroom. Well-equipped kitchen.

Fantastic location for a weekend with a 16month old. Spacious bedroom, good quality cot, comfortable living room, well equipped kitchen. Short walk through a nice park with a kids playground and small boating lake, to get to the large sandy beach and the start of a coastal walk. We had no car and manged this trip from London, getting a nice coastal bus to and from Sunderland to the place and a bus back from our coastal walk.

Diane was lovely, so helpful from showing us around to the very detailed instructions on all the facilities. Always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is comfy and has everything you need. Loved the finishing touches and welcome pack which included dog treats. The beach, coastal trails and country park are a short walk away making it a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return

Such a perfect property for a getaway in Newcastle. We thank Kristopher so much for the stay! The house was gorgeous and spotless, nice and modern with a private garden and hottub. It's on a lovely street and we walked straight into the city centre from here. Check in instructions were clear. We'd absolutely stay here again instead of a hotel next time we visit ❤️

The apartment is on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes walk away from the seafront and situated between Cullercoats and Tynemouth village which are both within easy walking distance. Lisa and Gavin were excellent hosts, providing lots of clear information and tips, and always very responsive. Check-in was easy. The flat looks just like the pictures and is well-equipped. We had a lovely weekend in Tynemouth, would definitely recommend!
