The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us

Our stay at Breakwater Lodge was just as we’d hoped - beautifully peaceful and quiet. Perfect place to go & unwind and enjoy relaxing days doing nothing. Breakwater Lodge has a great fully equipped kitchen, a lovely comfortable lounge area, with a small separate lounging room where you could choose a book from the shelf to read or watch a bit of tv. The deck is the perfect place to spend a quiet morning and afternoon, reading, relaxing and enjoying the view. And the best part about our stay at Breakwater Lodge was that our beautiful old dog got to enjoy it too. Not only a perfect spot to stay, but dog friendly too so highly recommend a little getaway at Breakwater Lodge.

‘Winkle’ was a great place to stay whilst touring the Tasman Peninsula. It is cosy, especially with fire, clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again & recommend.

Excellent place to stay, extremely serene with 9 Mile Beach as a highlight just down the dunes. Highly responsive and proactive host with delicious eating only a short drive away. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

My partner and I had a Lovely stay at Janines place. The place was very tidy and the view of the beach was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

A lovely peaceful place to relax and unwind. We really appreciated the delicious platter of fruit, bread and cheese on arrival. Plus the Easter eggs on Sunday morning was a delightful surprise.

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

Black+ Shack was great and matched the description perfectly. The pool was a treat and the fireplace worked beautifully. It suited our needs very well, and whilst the surroundings were quiet with not much around, that's exactly why we booked it. A great modern house with an awesome view in a beautiful part of Tassie.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We loved staying in Bicheno while visiting the Freycinet national park area. It’s a cute village with great coffeeshops. We appreciated our dinner at the Long Boat, the restaurant next to the motel complex. The apartment is brand new. The 2 bedrooms were extremely quiet and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were both beautiful and functional. Checking in and out was easy. We appreciated all the amenities available on motel ground. There’s a nice family beach just across the street. We had an amazing stay.

If you want peace, isolation and a modern comfortable cabin in a superb natural environment, this is the place for you. Host Sandra thinks of everything and will appear only if asked. The walkable, swimmable surf beach is 100 steps down the track and the crowds seem a million miles away.

Gail’s place was in a picture perfect location. The house was spotless with plenty of different areas for large families or groups. We enjoyed sitting and looking at the view from the lounge room.

We had a fantastic stay at Opossum Bay. The place was beautifully presented with high-quality amenities throughout—nothing cheap or nasty here! Everything felt thoughtfully chosen and well cared for. We made good use of the BBQ and pizza oven, and loved going for walks to the nearby rec park. The whole experience was relaxing and memorable. Would absolutely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing house! It has the most sensational panoramic views of the beautiful white beach and turquoise ocean that is right at the doorstep of this absolute beachfront home! A great place to stay in the gorgeous Dennes Point. I'd stayed here before with a friend so I knew what to expect. Great touches of character, the board games were a hit and so lovely to be able to light a fire. Lovely walking distance to the calm waters of Nebraska beach, if you're there on a weekend make sure you book in for the best wood fired pizzas at the local cafe.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautifully located home, with stunning views and direct access to a pristine beach. The house is spotless, very comfortable, and extremely well equipped. Communication with Lauren was smooth and responsive from start to finish. We warmly recommend this place!

Right up there with one of the best air bnb experiences my partner and I have enjoyed (and we have done 40+). Elize’s place is just beautiful, accurately described in the listing, cosy, spotlessly clean, peaceful and utterly delightful. You are only a short drive to a Swansea to pick up any essentials you may need and then kick back and relax. Add to this wonderful communication from your host, our only regret was that we could only stay the one night. Thank you for such a lovely experience, 9 Mile Beach really is magical.
