Welcome to the "Basil Cottage" at Good Earth. The cottage is the perfect size for a family, with 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, and 2 single beds) a kitchen, and a living area. You'll be staying on our 10-acre property, 4.7 miles from Bethany Beach. Convenient amenities include an on-site restaurant, market, theater, and ample parking. Our AIRBNB "Village" includes 2 tiny houses, a lofted apartment, two cottages, a "glamper", and 4 tent sites. Staying at Good Earth is more than just a beach trip.

Charming, Historic Lewes Cottage

This charming cottage is a great romantic getaway. It is cozy and an easy walk into the historic town of Lewes ~ many great restaurants are nearby. Lewes is a fascinating & historic town with so much to do: biking, canoeing, birding, beach time, museums, and more. The doors of the Cottage have low head jams and the stairs are compact. There is some noise from the nearby road ~ a white noise machine is provided. The cottage is compact, the refrigerator for the Cottage is a small one.

Also fully fenced yard with grill, shower, and parking for 4 cars. * Dogs are welcome pet fee $125.

The beach is a quiet 10 minute walk along Lake Comegys and Silver Lake. Popular eateries, Rehoboth Ale House and Big Fish are close by. Fifer's Farm Market and Cafe and The Surf Shack are just around the corner. Perfectly situated on the beach side of Highway 1 just minutes away from Rehoboth Avenue and downtown Dewey Beach.

Only two blocks to the ocean and a short walk to restaurants in downtown Dewey or take a trolley ride to Rehoboth Beach for more restaurants and shopping. No parking pass needed - there's room for 4 cars in the driveway. Feel free to borrow the 3 beach chairs and enjoy the outdoor shower when you get back from the beach.

Mary's Place has a large screened porch and a large outdoor shower. Enjoy walks on the beach along the Delaware Bay, which is directly across the street. Bikes are available for your enjoyment. Dogfish Brewery and several restaurants are less than 10 miles away in the town of Milton.
