We had a great stay! The house’s close proximity to Elk Mountain made it a breeze to go back and forth to the mountain. House was clean and had a lot of great amenities, especially if you’re traveling with young children. I also greatly appreciated the hosts’ responsiveness! Will definitely be looking forward to booking again next winter!

Very cozy house with a solid layout and lots of space. The mudroom area is perfect to keep all of your ski stuff organized if you plan on skiing at nearby mountains. Also a pretty cool waterfall and pond up a trail. Overall A+

Sandy's farmhouse was amazing! Very easy to find, lots of privacy, and amazing accommodations. Pictures don't do this place justice. Came here with 14 friends and everyone fell in love with this place!

The property was a perfect oasis! Very quiet and private but also very accessible from the highway. The space was very roomy with the separate bedrooms and bathrooms and the living area was very comfortable. The hosts were great at communication, proactively reaching out to provide instructions, and very friendly and welcoming! Overall, staying here was a great experience to enjoy nature for the fall colors.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for President's Day weekend. The home is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms if you have a larger group and a great game room in the lower level. Shuffle board is one of our favorite games, so my son was excited when he saw it in the game room. We also spent a lot of time playing board games in the sun room which has great views of their expansive property. We ventured outside quite a bit, walking around the pond, sledding down the small hill, playing football and walking the marked trails on the property. The main living room has a nice wood-burning fireplace and it was generally where would relax and unwind after a day of activities. Also, the blackstone gril was a huge plus! Lastly, our host Cindy was great! Very proactive in communicating with us in advance, providing helpful information prior to our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

We booked this place last minute for my wife’s birthday and it was the perfect find. The Airbnb is above an old storefront (currently being renovated), and based on the upstairs, it’s going to be something amazing. The remodel is high-end—beautiful tile, fixtures, paint, and a stunning kitchen overlooking a creek. The back patio has it all: grill, hot tub, firepit, hammocks, and a peaceful vibe. We booked it for the hot tub and enjoyed it the first night, but the soaking tub and spa-like showers were just as great. Hollie and Adam clearly know how to create an experience. The space was so comfortable and thoughtfully done that we didn’t leave for two days. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect.

It was a very nice place, the hosts were helpful in every way, hope to stay again in March if it’s available.

The space was perfect. The house is kept very well and has anything you would need for your stay available. The outdoor area is great and the lake view is even better. Jim is super responsive and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, recommend it to anyone.

Our stay here was great! My boyfriend and I booked Stefanie's apartment to go skiing at Elk for the weekend, which was about a twenty minute drive away. We had plenty of space for a lovely long weekend. Stefanie was great about check-in and leaving clear instructions for us. It snowed on Saturday while we were skiing and the driveway was plowed for us when we got back. If you plan to do complex cooking, bring things like knives and small measuring spoons, but we had everything else we needed! I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for skiing at Elk.

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! Very calming and serene location, perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. If you have pups they will have a lot of fun exploring the area. The cabin was exactly as described and had all the amenities.

Hi so to be pretty unbiased, I really love the calm atmosphere and being away from everything. It’s private and serene and when you’re going through a lot, that’s something that’s needed. I have no negative things to say, I hope others like this place as much as I did.

This was such a breath taking property! The cozy cabin was adorable, and you could really tell how much pride they had in their home. The view was incredible and so peaceful. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and getting to play with the goats. I wish we had booked a longer stay. Definitely 10/10!!!

The kids could not believe this place is so close to Scranton. The private lake was serene. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and laid-back. The view was picturesque. The rough roads insure low-speed driving, and therefore are relatively safe for free-range children. Close to plenty of outdoor activities, but the cabin was so nice, we barely left the dock. Best thing, our teenagers mostly stayed off their phones, and played with their younger siblings.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sue’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was perfect. Sue was an incredible host—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful and quiet! The woodstove kept the cabin toasty! The Elk Mountain Ski resort is just a few miles down the road! There was plenty of towels, necessities to last us thru our stay! Was able to bring our doggie with us which was a plus as we stayed a little over a week. Thanks!

Kelly was a very responsive and attentive host. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great, even providing chocolate and wine for Valentine's Day.

I love stating here! There are no decent hotels in the area and the setting can't be beat. I've stayed here multiple times and will continue to make this my home away from home when in town for business. Our company has a satellite office in town and this is a great fit for me and I love the consistency of being able to stay in the same place and knowing what to expect.
