Vesa-Matti war ein ausserordentlich guter Gastgeber! Er klärte bereits vorgängig alle unsere Fragen und Unklarheiten. Zudem gab er uns proaktiv Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Vesa-Mattis Antwortszeit ist unglaublich schnell. Hatten noch nie einen Gastgeber, der sich schneller um unsere Anliegen gekümmert hat als er. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Das nahegelegene Skigebiet ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir empfehlen ein Auto für diese Unterkunft mit zu buchen. Shops, Aktivitäten etc. sind ohne Auto nur sehr schwierig zu erreichen. Die Unterkunfts selbst ist sehr schön, sauber und hat alles was es braucht. Die Unterkunft war optimal für uns zu viert. Mehr als sechs Personen würden wir nicht empfehlen (sonst müssen die weiteren Personen im Sauna-Gebäude übernachten) Wir haben die Woche mit Pool und Sauna in vollen Zügen genossen und können daher die Unterkunft sowie Vesa-Matti nur empfehlen!

We had an absolutely amazing week at the cabin. The surroundings were stunning and peaceful. The cabin itself was great, brand new and extremely warm and comfortable with everything you need. It was so easy to park the car and access the cabin. The sauna was fantastic and the views from every window of the beautiful forest and lake were unforgettable. Ritta was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is idealic. Endless incredible walking trails within easy access. Ruka and Kuusamo are close by if you need a supermarket or restaurant. We rented a snow mobile in Ruka which was great and went to Pizzeria Ruka one night which was really good. I would definitely come back, Lapland is heaven and the most beautiful place I've been. We even saw the Northern Lights on our last night, a perfect end to our holiday!

The house is amazing and had everything we needed to feel at home. Very cozy and clean, beautiful location and very quite in the middle of nature, close to beautiful national parks and loads to do. We had such a nice stay and highly recommend the place. And Francine is a great host who helped a lot with many nice recommendations.

Het verblijf was geweldig. De lodge ligt op een idyllische plek aan het meer tussen de bomen. Bij aankomst (voor ons in de winter) is het huis lekker warm. We hebben genoten van de sauna in de lodge om vervolgens in de sneeuw af te koelen. De inrichting is perfect en compleet met mooi serviesgoed van Arabia. Ook handig dat er een wasmachine en droger is. De weg wordt goed onderhouden bij sneeuwval. Piritta geeft snel antwoord als er vragen zijn, communiceert fijn en heeft goede tips. We komen heel graag terug. Wat een sprookje was dit!

Oltiin isolla porukalla mökissä, mökki oli upea, ihana takka, oli siistiä ja paljon tekemistä, mökin ja hotellin ympäristössä voi käveleskellä, hiihtää, lumikenkäillä, kelkkailla ja pilkkiä tai tietenkin kesällä kalastaa, iso kiitos että sai koiran ottaa mukaan, kyllä nautti hänkin vapaana ulkoilemisesta. Saunasta pääsi suoraan pikku terassille, sekin oli kiva. Kyllä voin suositella kaikille jotka haluavat luonnon rauhaa ja kuitenkaan ei ole pitkä matka Kuusamon keskustaan jossa lähimmät kaupat.

We are so glad we chose this place for our stay! The cabin is wonderful, everything is new, it is spacious, comfortable, clean and it had everything we needed. After snowboarding in Ruka, arriving every night to enjoy the sauna was fantastic! We also love the location, it was peaceful and quiet, and we were lucky enough to see the Aurora right from the front of the house. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We would absolutely recommend Kimmo’s place and would love to return in the future! ❄️🌌

We voelden ons direct thuis! Een super mooie plek met alle benodigde faciliteiten. Heerlijk uitgebreide keukenbenodigdheden wat fijn is voor fanaten in de keuken als wij! De sauna, dubbele douche en jacuzzi met uitzicht op de piste en een goede JBL speaker zijn enorme kersen op de taart! We hebben enorm GENOTEN van deze plek! Eero reageerde altijd super snel en vriendelijk en schoot ons te hulp indien nodig. Ook voor vragen over dingen in de omgeving kun je bij hem terecht. Veel is op loopafstand in de buurt (supermarkt, activiteiten, piste, restaurants). En zelfs het Noorderlicht bij het huisje kunnen zien! Dikke aanrader!!!
