Jane’s place is fab! It’s far more quirky than we imagined. We were fascinated by all of the decor and decorative accessories - you spot something new every time you look around. The dining table was fantastic for the whole family to sit around. There is plenty of fridge and freezer space which you don’t always get for 10 people. We had lovely weather during our stay so the garden with nice garden furniture was really handy. All bedrooms are very comfortable and as described. The kitchen has everything imaginable in it! We had a wonderful stay in a great location within easy access of beautiful scenery and wonderful places to explore. We visited the Plough Inn for a meal which was really canny too. We would all recommend staying at Jane’s - it’s great!

The house is just perfect, spacious and all you could need. We were 2 families and there was plenty of space for adults and children. We has a small problem with the heating, but it was resolved super fast and Christian and Andrea were helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the AGA is amazing to cook on and keep warm. Would 100% recommend this home and the hosts. Thanks for a fab stay.

Emma’s place is lovely exactly as described. The garden was a great bonus hot tub was wonderful. We were in Newcastle due to the Magic Weekend so we used the house as a base for 2 families. Everyone had a great time perfect place for us to get together. Communications were very good.. Thank you Emma and your family for allowing us to stay in your home.

Airbnb was exactly as described in the advert. House is located about 15mins from the village pub which was a nice bonus. The road can be a bit loud at night but didn’t keep any of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was well sheltered from the road

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

We had a lovely time at Murton Farm. There were loads of games for the kids to play in the garden and they enjoyed exploring the huge house. Bedrooms were nice and big. There were plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out, but equally the living spaces were big enough with enough seating for everyone to gather at once and socialise. The hot-tub was a welcome treat after days out with the kids!

We absolutely loved our stay. Plenty of space both inside and out and a fantastic entertainment area with outdoor cooking facilities. Minutes away from a dog friendly sandy beach. Marske is a lovely place with Saltburn a short drive or walk down the beach. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely host, Dionne, who made us feel instantly welcome. The property itself is nestled in a tranquil and beautiful location, offering breathtaking landscapes that provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the sight of horses and sheep grazing peacefully in front of the estate was a real treat. We particularly enjoyed the evenings, setting up a barbecue and later a cozy fire under the vast, starlit sky. The stargazing was simply incredible in such an undisturbed setting. This Airbnb offers a truly perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace, natural beauty, and a welcoming atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and would highly recommend this gem to others looking for a tranquil escape.

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The hot tub was great and the option to add a sauna session is highly recommended, the views are amazing! The stay is perfect for relaxation. Anthony was very responsive and gave us some nice tips for local outings through their online guide. He also showed us how to operate the woodfire hot tub with the provided logs, which was very helpful. The only issue we had was how close the cabins were to each other. Our "neighbours" didn't abide by the rule of no outside music and played rave songs on loud, spoiling the advertised tranquility a bit but this was not the host's fault. We would definitely come again but will try to book a quieter time of the year or ask for a cabin at the very end of the site.

Thank you both for a tranquil and idyllic weekend, we loved our stay in Ash. The perfect quiet spot, great for birdwatching and star gazing. The tub was an amazing experience and we will certainly be back! The highlight of our weekend was exploring the big back garden and tasting the amazing cheese we bought from Jonathan at the farmers market.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Wow. What a fabulous weekend. Shirley saved my little family break after another host cancelled with little notice. My adult children stayed in Shirley's caravan. My hubby and I stayed on a pitch right next to it in our camper. The site was stunning. We were the only people there. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature. We walked into Reeth (3.2 miles each way) and back one day and had a few drinks at the pub. The following day we drove into Richmond, which was about a 15 minutes drive. One evening we used Shirley's stunning camp fire. We were provided wood, fire lighters and everything we needed. Shirley's partner even went to get us more wood and brought it to us. There was also a BBQ to use if we had wanted to. The caravan was very well equipped, with the addition of some milk, crisps and choccy biscuits that Shirley left. It had everything we needed including some games. I would highly recommend a stay at Shirley's. Thank you for being fab hosts.
