As a full time musician in Nash - this was the most peaceful, relaxing get away location ever! Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet only a 30 minute drive from downtown. And “Indie” the farm dog coming over for a visit while I was hanging by the fire pit topped it off. Can’t recommend this place enough. Great job w this place Taylor!

Beautiful place to get away and relax, very peaceful and private surroundings. We all felt safe and had a great time.

We loved our stay. We spent most of our time outside and playing pool in the bonus room. The outside area is beautiful. We saw deer everyday at the feeder and even had an Easter Egg hunt on the mountain. There is plenty of space and the bedrooms are nice and comfortable. I highly recommend The Cabin. We will be back soon

We had a great stay at Billy Goat Retreat! Jill and LJ are great hosts. Very responsive and made sure everything was going well for us. We enjoyed the fresh eggs everyday, visiting the goats and relaxing hot tub. The cabin is extraordinary and we hope to return someday. You won't be disappointed here, just book it.

Loved this place! Probably the most unique and charming places I’ve ever rented. Even with modern amenities throughout, it honestly felt like we were staying in a historical landmark. Plenty of space to spread out, beautiful surroundings and close enough to the city to take in an attraction if you wanted to leave the serenity for a bit. Michele was gracious, welcoming and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

"La Cabana" is a very unique cabin setting. We are animal lovers and felt great amongst the farm animals. The hosts are undoubtedly the most friendliest people on this planet. Grace is so fun to spend time with. Peacock (Ginger) and peahens that roam around without any human fear is such a delightful sight. My wife and daughter fell in love with this cute 5 weeks only pony "Timber". The entire cabin has very distinctive paintings done by Grace. Kitchen is well equipped with pans and silverwares. There were fresh farm eggs in kitchen when we checked-in. Had fun understanding new board games that were available. Our daughter enjoyed playing the Tongue drums. The deck is huge with lots of furniture. The bedrooms are cozy with tons of lines available for guests. We opted for a one painting session and Grace is a skilled artists. It felt great to learn few tip and tricks from her at her studio. Studio attic is so impressive. Marty and Grace are an amazing hosts. Loved our stay!!

What a beautiful and peaceful cabin experience! We had the best time recharging and relaxing on the Wilkinson Farm. I would recommend this place to anyone needing R&R or spending quality time with your family. There was so much to do on the property, we just didn’t get to experience it all on our short trip. My husband definitely did not want to pack up and go home! Hope to visit again Austin, thank you for your old fashioned southern hospitality!

This place is truly amazing! Will stay here anytime I'm in Nashville, it's away from the hustle bustle. Great people and beautiful land!

This cabin and property are breathtaking and serene. It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway. The beds are very comfortable, and the porch is lovely to sit on in the evening and watch the sun set and the horses graze in the distance. The interior of the cabin is warm, rustic, and cozy with an inviting presence. Melissa is a beautiful soul(incredible host) and very welcoming, available to you for any needs that may come about during your stay. The next time I plan a trip to Cross Plains, this will be the first place that I check for availability because I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area!
