Super friendly welcoming staff, good vibes place to stay for surfers and non surfers alike. Good value for a central location, close to Padang Padang, Impossibles and Bingin and 5 minutes to Uluwatu. Tucked off the road so no traffic noise, simple accomodation, comfy beds and great place to meet people.

Communications with Wayan were prompt, courteous and helpful. Note that Wayan speaks and texts in his Indonesian language. On-site house steward "Made" was terrific - he and his staff took care of everything upon arrival and during our stay. Excellent service! The "Villa Wedang Tea" unit was clean, romantic and a bit tropical exotic - with a patio view overlooking the swimming pool and a dense green landscaped rice terrace ravine (not the heavily tourist-trafficed rice terraces). No monkeys. ;-) Breakfast on the patio was the BEST. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Wayan's home. Positive feedback. We hope to return again...!

There was a mixup at check-in and we had to be relocated to their other hotel (like 2 minutes away) for the first night, but we liked it so much there that we actually decided to stay! Super cute aesthetic, very nice and attentive staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, etc. we also booked scooters and a boat to Gili through them, and it went very smoothly. No complaints :) A not too far scooter trip to central Ubud. About 15-20 minutes I think, but the location was absolutely gorgeous, so it was worth a little longer ride! We can definitely recommend ~

This place was just about as good as you can ask for on a trip to Ubud. It had modern elements fused with some rustic elements. Comfortable bed, hot&cold water, internet, cable tv...and nice pools and public sitting areas for all your relaxing needs. For an honest review you should be well aware that you are living with the "jungle" creatures most anywhere you go in Bali. So be prepared for the geckos, marching ants, and the occasional spider. The staff is more than willing and experienced to help if any of these things becomes a dramatic issue. The location is not "in the center of things/Ubud", but honestly its not supposed to be. There are various transport options which are reasonably priced to get you too and from town which is typically a 5-7 minute drive away. The Area is being developed and does need some improvement on road infrastructure but dont let that detract you from choosing this property. The staff do a wonderful job of seeing to your every need and request. The breakfast is good and the restaurant menu options were being updated while we were there which should only add to its improvement. Overall if you want to spend time in Ubud and surrounding areas and you are looking for a relaxing place to begin and end your days, the Monday Villa (or any of the other villas on the property) will easily be a great option.

Très bon séjour chez Agus. L’accueil est très bien. La chambre était impeccable. Vous pouvez manger directement au restaurant de l’hôtel, la cuisine est très bonne. Commerce à proximité et très facile pour louer un scooter que vous pouvez garer directement devant l’hôtel sur un petit parking privé. À proximité d’Ubud. Très bon endroit pour sortir de la ville et ne pas subir les nuisances sonores. Je recommande à 100%. Merci

I really enjoyed my time with Wayan and his family. The place is awesome (I had a room with terrace on the second floor), food was delicious and they even allowed to use their pool in their other villa.

Maple House was the perfect location for my solo time in Ubud. The staff are so friendly and sweet, always had a smile to share. The kitchen was a nice touch to cook a few meals on my own, and enjoy in my room or by the pool. I always woke up looking forward to the daily breakfast. My only con with this stay was that a fresh towel was not provided during my 5 nights there, I believe it was expected that I include it with the paid laundry service if I were to use it. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Ubud!

By far the best accommodation we've had during our trip to Bali! Our flight was delayed, but Wayan was very attentive and kept track of our arrival time to give us a warm welcome. The property is just a 10-minute walk from the main street in Ubud, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends! Thank you for everything! 😊

Der Besuch war magisch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat funktioniert und ich wurde wundervoll von der Familie empfangen. Dewu war hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das kleine Häuschen war wunderschön und paradiesisch. Ich hatte den Garden Room und der Ausblick von meinen Häuschen war wirklich atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen gab es hausgemachtes balinesisches Frühstück aufs Zimmer serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Ausflüge die ich mit Dewu waren wunderschön. Da ich alleine am reisen bin, war es gut einen Guide an seiner Seite zu haben, der alles erklären kann. Ausserdem machte er wunderschöne Videos und Fotos von mir. Da diese Unterkunft eher etwas ländlicher liegt und nicht direkt im Zentrum, kann man sich da super entspannen und runterkommen. Es gibt einen Pool wo man sich abkühlen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Es gab auch immer die Möglichkeit Dinner aufs Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The driver service to the accommodation and back to the harbor was super convenient and well organized. The large, cozy hut was absolutely lovely – clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Every day, the place was thoroughly cleaned and tidied up, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with the smoothie bowl being a personal favorite! The scooter rental was easy and reliable. The service from the staff was outstanding – everyone was friendly, kind, and always willing to help. Ali and (probably) his younger brother stood out in particular and truly warmed our hearts. When we didn’t know the way to Amok Sunset Bar, Ali didn’t hesitate to jump on his scooter and guide us there himself. Every evening, we told him what we wanted to eat, and his younger brother brought the food exactly on time – such a thoughtful touch! We will recommend this place to everyone and we’ll be back as soon as we can! 🌸❤️

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp auf Nusa Penida! Wer Ruhe, Natur und eine atemberaubende Aussicht sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Hoch oben gelegen, eröffnet sich ein phänomenaler Blick über die Insel – besonders bei Sonnenaufgang einfach magisch. Die liebevoll gestaltete Anlage ist umgeben von sattgrüner Vegetation und wunderschön bepflanzt. Ein sanfter Wind weht durch die Hügel und verstärkt das Gefühl völliger Entschleunigung. Die kleinen Häuschen sind charmant und gemütlich – genau das Richtige für alle, die Einfachheit mit Stil und Herz schätzen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Jeder Moment hier fühlt sich besonders an, fast wie in einem Märchen. Ich komme definitiv wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal auf Nusa Penida bin!

This is such a special place to stay in Amed! We stayed in the room that had a little deck with a view of the ocean. And while the deck does look right onto the restaurant patio, it still feels special to have our own place to sit and listen to the waves. It’s a beautiful hotel, but what makes it extra special is the kind, patient and observant staff. Every single person that helped us at the hotel was so sweet and wonderful and two of the staff members even offered to give us a ride on their motorbikes when we needed to go to a place that was further than walking distance and no taxis were available. They lent us helmets and drove us safely to our destination, and then picked us up on the other end. We cannot recommend this place highly enough! That said, it's worth noting that the Amed streets are currently under construction (adding sidewalks and drainage). We found walking along the beach to nearby establishments to be more pleasant.

What can we say, this place is special. If you want the perfect place to come back from your (sometimes intense) adventures, this is definitely it. Incredibly gracious staff, exquisite views, a beautifully designed property and rooms, and excellent food. It’s really quite impressive what they’ve been able to create at Maua. Don’t even think twice, the price is completely worth it. PS we left our passports and cash in the safe on our last day and it wasn’t until we were nearly at the harbor to catch our boat back to Bali that we realized. We contacted the team at Maua and they went out of their way to meet us at the harbor with our important docs - with a big smile no less! 🙏🙏🙏

We had a wonderful stay at this bamboo bungalow! The design is charming and blends perfectly with the natural surroundings—authentic, cozy, and eco-friendly. The interior was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the essentials provided. I especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying my morning coffee on the veranda and fire place . The location was peaceful, plenty of waterfalls in short distance .Close enough to local attractions and restaurants. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations or anything I needed. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat that offers a unique connection with nature, this bamboo bungalow is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The place is absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, very private, with great view. The private pool is amazing and the hot tub too. Im sure you cant get anything better for the amazing price. The host went beyond expectations. They put flowers for us everywhere, something that we didn’t expect. Also they took our laundry to the laundry service nearby. Excellent host, excellent place!!

Very close to Kuta beach, lots of shops and eating places & value for money for its location. Wayan was very friendly when we were checking out of the airbnb on the last day 👍🏻

After staying in a busier part of central Ubud, we were lucky to stay at Kadek's lovely place. We felt right at home and enjoyed sitting in the front porch with a peaceful garden view. We were not feeling well so we asked him to cook rice porridge for a fee. He was happy to oblige and refused to let us pay. He was available whenever we needed help. Kadek is a super host.

We stayed here for a few nights while on our honeymoon, and it was wonderful! The property is absolutely beautiful, a jungle oasis tucked away from the bustle of the village. The staff were all very friendly, and the room had everything we needed. The restaurant had very good food and the included breakfast was simple but exactly what you need to start the day. The wildlife was enjoyable for us, that being said please take the hosts description of there being wildlife seriously - if you’re not okay with ants/geckos/frogs or anything else you may happen upon in the jungle, maybe consider staying elsewhere - but for us it was great! Minor downside was the scooter rental at the property is not the price listed on the property description, and they were not willing to honor the price. It would also be more helpful if the pictures on the listings were of each individual room and not all of them together as it makes it unclear what room you are actually booking. We would stay here again!

Logement incroyable avec une magnifique vue. Personnel extrêmement accueillant. Le coin est très paisible et il y a plusieurs très bons restaurants aux alentours. Je recommande à 100%!
