Lesley was a fabulous host. Our family totally enjoyed our time staying right on the rivers edge with a stunning view. The cabin and bunkie have a cozy vibe but tons of room for our extended family. There are lots of amenities to enjoy creating a great getaway. It was a special experience- the setting, the peace and the memories made. Can’t wait to return!

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.

Host made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of games and activities for the kids, all our questions were answered ahead of time. Very positive experience, will recommend to friends!

We absolutely loved our vacation cabin getaway at Bob and Darlene’s. We had KC to welcome us upon arrival 🐾 Bob and Darlene prepared delicious meals and made sure we were comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. The cabins are warm and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

We had a great stay at Mercedes’ property this past weekend! The house was absolutely immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity you could think of, making it easy to cook and feel right at home. The location was wonderfully private, offering stunning views that made our getaway feel serene and magical. Mercedes was a fantastic host—she was incredibly helpful and provided clear and detailed instructions for finding and accessing the property, which made everything smooth and stress-free. While we were there, we got almost a foot of snow, but Mercedes was quick to have someone come and clear the driveway, ensuring we had no trouble getting in or out. She also provided more than enough firewood to last the entire weekend! We are beyond thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing retreat with family or a loved one. A beautiful spot with friendly farm dogs that come to visit! It was so nice to hear the sounds of nature going to sleep and awakening. Definitely a place to become one with nature again.

This Airbnb is perfect. The cabin was beautiful and the view from the deck was awe inspiring. We loved going for dips everyday and the outdoor shower, was a cherry on top to the beauty. There was so much to explore and we loved being able to take the kayaks out on the water with the loons, in the early hours and night. The cabin on lake Jambo had everything that we could ever need and leaving felt like waking up from a dream. We highly recommend this incredible place and really appreciated our host Cheri. She was very responsive and thoughtful and was quick to make us feel welcome. She was a very kind and warm person which really emanated itself in the beautiful place that they have created. Very peaceful and secluded. Just what I was looking for. Great & reasonably priced especially if you’re looking for a nice little “local” honeymoon spot. Next time I think I would rent a kayak to better access the water, but my dog sure had fun playing in it and a nice little trail that leads down.

Ali’s place was a perfect spot for a winter weekend getaway. Beautiful cabin in a great location, close to ski trails and ice fishing. The place is well stocked and Ali was very helpful with communication. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time and enjoyed some awesome fishing adventures. The campground residents were very friendly and helpful! Would love to book another trip in the future.

Just finished a lovely Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. My family of four took in some beautiful nearby walks, did a little fishing, had a few campfires and enjoyed the sauna at the cabin. The surrounding property was so quiet and peaceful. It was a really good place to unplug and just be together. The cabin was super cute and very clean. Had everything we needed to make delicious meals in the evenings. Loved it.

My friends and I did a girls cottage retreat over the weekend. This property was the perfect place! Everything was beautiful including the crystal clear water. We were also able to bring are dogs who also enjoyed the cottage.

Our experience at Cow river Lodge was above and beyond anything we expected! This magical destination feels like an enchanted wildlife getaway. With all of the trees turning colours in the fall time, the view was amazing. Craig's lodge came fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, sleeping and relaxing. We were grateful to have Wifi to keep in touch with loved ones. It is quite the boat ride in, it took us several hours and one of our boat batteries was acting up. Craig was quick with his help and allowed us to temporarily borrow his battery(from a boat at the lodge) to use to get us back to the boat launch at the end of the week. We couldnt have asked for a better host and location. 5/5 stars, we absolutely recommend Cow River Lodge and hope to return in the future.

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Sharon and Norm were really helpful on our stay. The cottage was just awesome with great lake view. A huge thanks to Norm for helping us with the firewoods and setting up the fire pit for us.I will definitely recommend the place if you looking for a private cottage with best view in the woods.

This is a beautiful spot to stay at. Rest, walk, fish, and explore the area. We had a great time. The sunsets are beautiful.

Had a great time was away for work brought boat and fished in the evening’s beautiful spot amazing waterfront explore with boat for days. Will be going back !!!
