We stayed for one night while driving across the province. This place was a great surprise - the inside was pristine and homey and it was so convenient - right off the highway. We had lots of room for a family of four, and everything was new and clean. We took on the dinner recommendations and enjoyed our locally prepared meal. We were off early in the morning after a peaceful sleep. Will stay again!

Loved our stay at The Firefly, it was the perfect place to spend a week. The whole property was beautiful, we felt right at home. Will definitely choose this property again if we are back to the area.

This place is very comfy. The antique furniture prices in each room are unique and add such charm. The giant tub was also lovely, though I couldn’t figure out how to make the jets work. The beach is very nice and the nature trail is great. I will come back!

This was our second stay at John's place and we'll be coming back again next year. John is always friendly and helpful and the house is a perfect size for two families. It's a beautiful location with a nice deck and lots of space for kids to play. Thanks again!

Great place to stay, good quality cookware exc.. Snowmobile Trail is very close and easy to get on. Exactly what we were after. The place was clean and comfy.

We loved our stay! Very homie, clean, comfy & a lot of space! The chicken coop was a huge plus and treat to have fresh eggs for breaky! We also love the brightness of the house! And we look forward to going back when we visit the island again! Thank you very much!!

We had a wonderful stay at the RV. The pool was a perfect spot to relax, so warm and the ambience was fantastic under the stars, and the fire pit made for cozy evenings were lit ❤️ It was wonderful to have a pet friendly environment and we enjoyed having hairy, charley and chewey around us. They were so friendly with us. The houses on the property were an added delight and the ride which paul took us was a memorable lifetime experience for us. Paul was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a fun and comfotable getaway. You guys are amazing :)

This was my second stay at The Dollhouse. Chris and Terrie and extremely helpful and reasponsive. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and they even included bread of our choice and cream for our coffee. Will stay again!

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

Had a great time, needed a place to stay and relax for a fishing weekend taking some friends out for a trip as they don’t know the area well. Clean, comfortable and affordability come to mind. Had a great time and would definitely go back again! Carole made it easy for us to check in a bit early and was quick to respond to questions.

What a great place to just relax and unwind. It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Kim and Ken are amazing hosts. They have all the details laid out for their guests in a very organized book. There are so many things included in your stay making it lighter for us to pack. They welcome pets which is a huge plus. They were there for checkin to make sure we knew how to operate everything and available for any questions. Great fishing even in August. I would highly recommend this remote, private property.

My second visit to this very comfortable, snug, and warm cabin with an excellent wood furnace. Having a warm and dry place for the night made hiking in November so much more enjoyable. Shawna is a delightful host. Though it is an hour and a half to Kilarney Park, it is an easy and pleasant drive with little traffic. En route, nearby Noelville has a wonderful coop grocery store with much in addition to groceries, though it closes about 5:00 pm or so.

Fabulous and lovely accommodations. Hosts were easy to contact and addressed any concern we had quickly.

Спасибо огромное! Все было отлично! Мы были на машине, для нас все подходило по размещению, месту, парковке (идеально). Прекрасные апартаменты, чисто, ухоженно, есть все необходимое. Хозяйка отвечает очень быстро и помогает разрешить вопросы, удовлетворить нужды. Идеальный туалет и ванная. На кухне чисто и комфортно. Помещение для стирки идеальное, рядом. Чудо жилье! Большая редкость. Минус был небольшой, диван в гостиной имеет неприятный запах (видимо от предыдущих гостей), но в целом он чистый и видно, что за ним ухаживают. И для меня, например, это не критичная проблема, я просто никогда не сажусь на диваны нигде. А вот муж очень любит, ему это не очень понравилось. Но в остальном все отлично, и с кроватью в спальне все идеально. Чисто, ухоженно. Красиво созданный интерьер. Мы очень благодарны за всё. И с удовольствием снова выберем и остановимся именно в этом месте.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Margaret’s place. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We stayed at Tyler, Steph, and Julie's cottage for a Fall fishing trip and it was the perfect spot! The lake is excellent for fishing, large and many places to scope out for all hours of the day... the firepit space was a great fit for our group of 5 to enjoy (we had forgotten our chairs and were thankful to see all the outdoor seating!) The cottage was one of the most well stocked Airbnb's we have stayed in, lots of helpful items in the kitchen. Our group noted we really would love to come back in the Summer time - there were so many games, a horseshoe pit, a whole separate bunkie, and lots of water toys that left us wanting to come back when the temps/waters are warmer with more friends for a true cottage staycation. 5/5, thank you for hosting us!

What a treat to have so much privacy, complete with modern amenities in an area that is dominated by older, traditional cottages. French River is a gem of a place and how lucky we were to enjoy it in David's modern 'bunkie'. We were blessed to have a clear and calm night on Oct.10th for peak Northern Lights show. Mornings were spent visiting a nearby beaver den by kayak or canoe. Our next visit back will include fishing which is what the area is known for. Would love to come back during the summer season to enjoy water sports and late nights on the covered porch. Thank you Dave and your crew for making our stay enjoyable.
