The most luxurious bed mattress has been added for guests to snuggle into. Hot power shower in a charming en-suite, mains water pressure. The valley is your own in this secluded charming hut. Arrive by car the path to the hut is lit by sensors & for your return walk from dinner & banter 400 metres away in the famous Woolpack pub reserve a table.

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, our luxury 16 foot Shepherd's Hut was built and professionally fitted in 2021. It has a shower room with WC, a log burner, fitted bed, kitchen unit with mini fridge and inside dining table. No cooker in the hut. There is a toaster and a kettle. We can provide a breakfast. Outside there is 16x9' external decking a gas BBQ for cooking,chiminea. Stunning views. The hut is on our own 3.5 acre smallholding . We do not allow dogs in the hut.

Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra. Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire. Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

The Shepherds Hut is located on the edge of the village of Painswick, which is known as the 'Queen of the Cotswolds'. We offer a cosy and comfortable self contained shepherds hut with a double bed, shower room and kitchen with a wood burning stove. The hut sits within a pretty grassland meadow, with unrivalled views across the Painswick Valley.
