Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

This listed Grade 2 landmark building has been restored as a gem of a holiday home, with contemporary comfort and style, surmounted by lantern and cupola. Enjoy open plan living in traditional style on the ground floor, and as you head up through the house you'll find cosy bedrooms and old machinery still in place, a relic of times past. Our simply styled and cosy cottage sits some distance from our house, is fully self contained with a kitchen, own front door, self check in and a private pretty courtyard garden which backs onto our adjacent field. Ideal for dogs to exercise. It is close to stunning Cotswold way walks and great pubs and is well located for visits to many cotswold attractions. It has strong wifi also making it a tranquil place to work from home.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut in The Cotswolds

Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed, and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.

Our family cottage offers you a colourful retreat in utterly blissful woodland surroundings. You can expect to be enveloped by nature, wonderfully secluded, and enjoy some utter peace whilst also being within walking distance of a very decent pub and a short drive from a handful of lively Cotswold towns. The house is rustic and quirky and you can walk for hours in the forest and surrounding countryside, directly from the front door.

Cosy and quiet cottage nestled in the Cotswolds

The Grade II Listed cottage is 300-350 years old with bags of character and authentic charm. It is very comfortable in the snug with its own wood burner and other original features. Go to sleep hearing the owls and wake up to the birds singing. Make breakfast and drink a cup of tea in the garden. There are beautiful walks right on the doorstep including a lake very close by. We quite often see deer from our house.
