This very private cottage is clean, bright and comfortable. A wood stove and all natural wood interior with vaulted ceiling making it bright, comfortable, spacious, and inviting. The peace of the forest is rejuvenating and the outdoor bath tub for two a great joy. Our peaceful country escape is ready! Modern 1 bedroom cottage perfectly positioned to enjoy the view over the farm. Huge deck space, both covered and open, with bbq, propane firepit and 1 of the best spots to enjoy the serenity! Less than 5 minutes drive from downtown Courtenay, mountain bike trails to Comox Lake, Mount Washington Alpine Resort is 30 min drive, several golf courses with Crown Isle being 15 min away. Plenty of fresh or saltwater fishing to choose from so don’t forget the rod!

This cottage is a separate building which is situated on the same property as the owners. Although this is a small cottage it has a fully equipped kitchenette, one bathroom, one double bed and a fold out couch, There is also a semi private patio for your use. Sorry NO TV but I offer FREE wifi. Please note * BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED. Please read entire listing BEFORE booking! Adult orientated only. I have a NO kids and NO pet policy . There is also a small Gift shop on the premises.

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Our cozy guest cabin is nestled in the forest a five minute walk to the beach & near mountain biking trails. Dine Al fresco on the large patio! Access to the outdoor jacuzzi. Terrycloth robes supplied. Well equipped kitchen includes a full size fridge, convection oven, hotplate, microwave, grinder, coffee maker & outdoor propane BBQ. Indoor shower. Eco friendly Sun-Mar composting toilet in a separate building. There is a wall mounted Monitor (no cable) to connect to your devices.

Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just relax and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.
