What we provide- ~linens and towels ~cookware and servingware ~kitchen basics ~soap and shampoo ~starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and garbage bags ~the coffeemaker is a standard drip machine, filters provided ~the grill is propane, though there is also a charcoal grill for your use (byo charcoal) ~firewood, BYO kindling Rental Rules ~Check in is 4:00 PM-10PM / Check out is 11:00 AM -a fee will be charged for late checkout ~No Smoking in or near the Skoolie ~Dogs are allowed, with $40 Pet Fee ~No loud noise or parties ~Absolutely no UTV's, ATV’s, Trailers, or Camper Cancellation Policy 85% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after. No date changes allowed within 7 days of arrival. Please note that no exceptions will be made to the Cancellation Policy, and that we strongly suggest purchasing Trip Insurance that would cover last minute cancellations due to illness or other unforeseen emergencies.

One of the best fishing & swimming holes is directly out the front door! ~5 miles to downtown to catch talented folk musicians on the square, head up to the famous Blanchard Springs Caverns & Ozark-St. Francis Forest for hiking/biking, or to Big Flat, AR for our award-winning brewery.

This property offers a unique opportunity for family groups, sportsmen, or nature lovers. Included in your reservation is access to around 150 acres of private land right outside your door, including fields, woods, and creek. You have private access to a beautiful section of Tomahawk Creek, where you are welcome to fish, hike, kayak, and explore. Pets and ATVs welcome!!

Rest & Relaxation

The Rest & Relaxation cabin is located about two miles from the Ozark Folk Center beyond the entrance off AR HWY 382W off of Hwy 5 at the end of a country road and has convenient access to the Folk Center, downtown Mountain View, and it's on the way to Sylamore and Blanchard Springs. The cabin is very comfortable with two bedrooms (each have a queen size bed) One has a bathroom with shower and in the hall is a bathroom with a tub. There is double size Futon in the living area.

Tiny blue bird cabin

Cozy tiny home on the outskirts of Mountain View. Secluded and quiet, away from the city, but within 5-10 minutes of the Ozark Folk Center, the Dulcimer Shoppe, the downtown court square and pickin’ park, and the White River. 15 minutes to Blanchard Springs Cavern. Tiny home is on our 10 acre property, situated away from the main house for privacy. Cabin has a queen size bed, bathroom with shower, dining and kitchen area, along with all linens and kitchen supplies.

Calico Bluff American Cabin

Our cabin sits on a bluff about 60-80 feet above the White River with a beautiful view from back deck! This deck is literally on the edge of the bluff! 180 degree view of river and beautiful pasture across river from cabin. Our cabin is one of three that sit fairly secluded on land with private road. We own the middle cabin & 6.6 acres around and across gravel road from it. Signage alerts public they are trespassing. Very quiet.

Cabin in the woods

My studio cabin is located on 60 acres of woodland about 8 miles from Mountain View. My walking trails will take you to some beautiful rock formations and an occasional glimpse of the mountains. After that long walk you will have two comfy queen beds with great pillows! There is a couch, loveseat and a recliner, books, TV, movies, and a fully equipped kitchen. DISH TV REMOTE- Press power button and then TV button to turn TV on.
