It is quiet, isolated and forms the perfect base for a wide range of outdoor activities such as hill climbing, kayaking, walking and fishing all available locally. Large glass sliding doors allow floor to ceiling views of the sea, sky and Summer Isles.

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. Stunning location, one of the best house sites in Scotland, overlooking the secluded bay at Clachtoll, directly onto Split Rock and Assynt Mountain range beyond. The artistic owner has ensured a comfortable interior of distinctive character. An extensive library of books, paintings, assorted artwork and aesthetically pleasing objects, combine to provide rooms of considerable interest. The stunning views from the house are without doubt one of the most memorable features of this home!

The Byre at the Smithy House in Stoer sits on our small croft with open views out towards the croft and surrounding area. The Old School Byre is our coastal dog-friendly self-catering holiday cottage near Lochinver on the Stoer Peninsula with mountain and sea views plus optional extras including guided hikes and stargazing nights (weather permitting!). Ideally suited for couples who want to enjoy some close-to-nature togetherness, as well as solo travellers looking for a creative retreat. Take the slow road on the NC500 with a stay at ours!

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
