The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. An enjoyable one night stay for a friend's celebration. The apartment is perfectly located for all Yarm has to offer, and just a short walk to the high street. Everything was as the description, and extremely comfortable. Ollie had thoughtfully left milk in the fridge (both plant based and normal), and there was tea and coffee available. Ollie was available to meet me when I arrived and left, he was an excellent host and responded very quickly when I contacted him the day before arriving. I would recommend the apartment and would very happily stay again.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Very private & peaceful! I 100% would return, you will not regret booking this gem of a place. Thank you the most amazing hosts for being so kind & thoughtful!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

This was everything I was looking for in a solo retreat. I felt right at home, everything was already set up so didn't need to faf about. The accommodation was pristine and emaculant so no issues about worrying if I need to clean before setting up. When checking in, there is no reception in the area but luckily check in instructions were clear which made it soo much easier.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

This was our second time staying at Donna’s and it won’t be our last. Donna’s place is immaculate and so homely and Donna goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome including making contact and checking in which is very much appreciated. This place is a safe haven with so many lovely places nearby to explore. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed and linen is so so comfy! Cannot recommend enough. We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Lovely little place, really quaint! Really accessible and close to the village

We had a wonderful break - Rosie’s cottages are just gorgeous, five stars all the way. Beautifully appointed, furnished and so central in the heart of such a lovely village Stokesley. Everything was easy to get too and lots of restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. Rosie was so welcoming as a host - lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches, pristine condition and spotlessly clean. We felt very lucky to have found such a great place to stay for nearby family celebrations. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great place to stay, right on the marina walking distance from many good restaurants and a great place to just take a stroll. Graham was always there to answer questions before we arrived. Everything in the Condo is well marked, he has all of the user manuals for all of the appliances and such. Notes conveniently placed so that you understand what is going on and how things work. We stayed for a whole month and was well worth the money for the stay. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

Visited Bishop Auckland for the weekend to see some old friends and stayed at Gary’s Apartment. The flat was lovely and felt very homely. Close to the main street where the majority of the pubs and restaurants are so everything was in perfect walking distance. I would definitely stay again. Gary’s hosting skills were brilliant and he was very helpful to any questions i had. 10/10!

We love this place. We’ve been before and will definitely be back. The cottage itself is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we needed. It is very handy, in walking distance from several cafes, pubs and restaurants. Rachel is very responsive and helpful. Lovely touches of bread, butter, milk and marmalade, on arrival.

First class . Superbly presented apartment, clean and tidy with stunning views overlooking the marina. Thanks for making our stay a special one , we couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, 100% . We will hopefully be returning soon .

Det var en mysig lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över centrala Darlington. Det var kallt när vi anlände men det löste sig när vi kommunicerade med värden om hur man höjde temperaturen. Dock hade det en tendens att kännas lite kallt. Den extra bäddsoffan skulle kunnat förbättrats med en bäddmadrass och täcket där var för tunt när vi hade kallt i lägenheten. Sängen var mycket bekväm och täcket där var supertjockt. Vi tycker att läget är mycket bra och trivdes gott!

Great flat and location! The local area was lovely, nice walks, pub opposite and shop next door. The flat was an ideal location for exploring neighbouring towns and walking areas. The flat was exactly as described on the listing and Chris’ communication throughout the stay was great
