We had such a beautiful time here at Ruth’s, the location was perfect for our first visit to Saltburn and the room was absolutely beautiful, the sea view was just what made it for us, everything was as described if not better! Breakfast was an extra bonus too, and Ralph the dog was very friendly! Everything was clean and it was nice to have the little extra touches such as tea / coffee / toiletries and even a kitchen if needed! We 100% would stay here again when we next come back. Thanks again x

I really enjoyed staying at Sarah place. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the bathroom was nicely laid out and comfy. The kitchen has all the essentials needed to make you feel at home. Would definitely stay there again.

Great facilities, shower is amazing, comfy bed, washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer, great location for walking to shops and great walks for dogs.

The room is very aesthetic, with beautiful furniture and big bathroom. It is like small apartment and very clean. The location is great, near the station and close to the beach. Communication with Becky was very good. I recommend 100%.

We loved our three night stay in Horseshoe Cottage. Sarah was very quick to reply to any queries and the cottage is exactly as advertised. It's situated on a steep hill in the tiny village of Glaisdale, which was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Whitby, which was a mere 20 minutes away in the car. The countryside is beautiful and the village itself has a shop, a butchers, a post office and a pub. What more do you need? The lovely winding roads that lead to Glaisdale, and the surrounding scenery of rolling hills and flowing streams, seems like it's out of a nature book. It's quiet in Glaisdale, so don't make too much noise. But it's hard to do that when the place itself just takes your breath away. Recommended for anyone looking to hike the hills and moors, and for anyone who wishes to visit Whitby. A marvellous little stay. I'm sure we'll return.

The cutest airbnb I have ever stayed at! Bianca’s place is the epitome of the perfect “house by the sea”! The house was cozy and Bianca is an amazing host, and is super understanding and helpful. Looking forward to staying with her again!

Great base for exploring Durham and loads of room for us to relax and spread out. Ample parking, excellent kitchen and facilities and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, tidy and felt like a home away from home. The host Anthony was friendly and communicative. He set the cot up for our baby ahead of our arrival and also left a nice bottle of wine in the fridge—greatly appreciated! The house is in close proximity to Saltburn and Whitby. The house was very neat and tidy and had all of the facilities that are needed. We found the location quiet, peaceful and ideal as it is within walking distance of Durham town centre. The host was very friendly and proactive in communicating any instructions to us regarding check in/check out etc.

Great long weekend in Middlesbrough and staying in Franki's house helped a lot. It was a good base to explore the city and the area as the train and bus stations are close, while having a good rest for the next day.

The house was clean, tidy and warm, and great for our needs Mark was very proactive and communicative which made the whole process of staying at his house run very smoothly, from self check-in to self check-out. The main issue was the bathroom was downstairs through the kitchen, as is common in this type of house, which meant going to the toilet in the night from an upstairs room was a short trek. The area is as described in the listing - on the edge of a poorer area of town, and being close to the university means it is probably a main area for student accommodation. However, we found it to be quiet and easy to park during our visit so had no issues with the location.

I have stayed here a number of times so I will do a quick review. They went out of there way to let me into the room early. Darren if you have a problem he will sort it out. A good host

A group of friends stayed at Aqeel’s place for one Saturday night. It was ideally located for the town centre and had all the facilities you would need for a comfortable short stay.

Mary has been very nice and helpful. The room is very clean and I have a wonderful experience.

Beautiful church at the bottom of the garden. Church bells chime on the quarter of each hour but are quiet between 10pm and 7am, bell ringing on Sunday morning was marvellous. Property spacious and comfortable with good view over the garden and beyond. The many levels within the house and garden makes it interesting and intriguing. Would highly recommend.

Clair's place is so lovely! Great location (near food, easy taxi, easy walking) and the listing was exactly as described. We loved the cemetery/church next door, and Stewart Park just across the street with a cafe for easy breakfast options. The neighbors were charming and helpful, and it was within easy travel distance from so many fantastic sights. Easy access to SO many other nearby locations, we were able to pack our stay with fun activities. The beds and bathroom were comfy, with lots of clean linens and bedding. We loved having a washing machine, and Clair made sure we had clothes pins to hang the laundry out to dry. Adorable back garden, too! The house itself was a treasure, with a rich local history. We'd stay with Clair again in a heartbeat.

Apart from being a little tricky to find the apartment was very comfortable, clean and modern, and a dog friendly environment. The host Vicky was great with communication and instruments regarding check-in and out. We we're out visiting local ares throughout the day time but felt relaxed and safe during the night. Would recommend to family and friends.

The pictures do not do it justice, so much nicer decor in real life and brighter inside. The location is perfect, shop opposite, two pubs less than a two minute walk! We will most definitely be back.

Wir hatten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit in Saltburn! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung und der Ort sind wunderschön und wir haben viele schöne Ausflüge und Wanderungen unternommen.

Lovely house, with a good and enclosed pet friendly back garden, and the property is very well located for both Bishop Auckland town centre and Kynren.

An ideal place for exploring Darlington and surrounding area. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Communication was speedy and clear. My sister and her partner were able to check in a bit earlier, which was really helpful.
