Lake View Studio -Wareham Dorset "Daisy"

Lake View Studios have been transformed from old outbuildings to lovely self contained studios set in 190 acres of idyllic Dorset countryside surrounded by picturesque lakes bustling with wildlife. Situated just outside of Wareham our location is at the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. We are close to many local attractions including RSPB Arne, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Enjoy the wildlife from the patio, stroll around or we can arrange for you to Kayak on our beautiful lake.

Centrally Located Wareham Accommodation

Our flat is accessed via a private entrance off South Street in Wareham. It is on the first and second floor above our well known tea room & restaurant, which is open during the day only. The lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom and a single bedroom are on the first floor. The large bedroom and another double is on the second floor - the stairs to this floor are a little twisty and there is a low beam at the top. Nearby is Arne Nature Reserve, Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door

The Garden Room is a cosy and welcoming private place to stay perfect for getaways. Situated in an ANOB close to the coast, it is tastefully decorated with a pretty view from the south facing window. Tea/coffee making facilities & light breakfast of pastry, fruit & yogurt is available in the room (or garden). You will feel very comfortable in a stylish space in lovely surroundings. Also use of a pretty patio, parking space & fridge. Sorry, not suitable for children or if you are without a car.

Enjoy a stay in our recently refurbished one bedroom basement apartment with well equipped kitchen, bathroom, private entrance, parking and garden access. Hidden away in a quiet residential area but only 5 mins walk from the centre of Wareham which has many cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent cinema and shops. Visit the popular quay area with boat hire and a weekend market. A 30 minute bus or car ride will take you to stunning beaches, historic villages and endless walking opportunities.

Cosy Purbeck Cottage on the Jurassic Coast

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

The Hyde

Nestled in the countryside near Wareham,The Hyde is a charming, self-contained cabin perfect for two. It boasts a cozy interior with flexible sleeping options. The location offers easy access to local attractions including Arne RSPB, Corfe Castle,Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. A short walk away is the quaint market town of Wareham, with scenic riverside walks,pubs and restaurants. With its blend of natural beauty, historical sites, and cozy accommodation, The Hyde provides an idyllic getaway.

Jurassic Coast Cottage

Nestled just inside the stunning Isle of Purbeck, Pound Cottage sits at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, home to England's only natural World Heritage site. You'll be 15 minute walk via a breathtaking causeway to the Saxon-walled market town of Wareham, or a four minute stroll to the local thatched-roof pub. The iconic Durdle Door is near your doorstep: 18 min drive. Recently renovated with a cosy yet contemporary feel, you'll enjoy a comfortable base for adventures and relaxation alike.

Bosuns - Beautifully Decorated Thatched Cottage

Escape to Bosuns in the Isle of Purbecks for an unforgettable holiday. Nature lovers can enjoy walks and cycling, while beach enthusiasts can visit many nearby coves or Studland Bay. A 3 min walk to the charming village pub and a 10 min walk to the vibrant river town of Wareham, with many cafes and restaurants, Saturday market, unique shops, and the Rex oil-lit cinema. Water activities like boat and paddleboard hire are available. Bosuns is the perfect base to explore Dorset's attractions.

The Furzebrook Snug

The Snug is located centrally to all of the Jurassic Coasts famous sites. The Property is adjoining the owners home, set within an AONB and SSSi designated area, with an RSPB site (Arne) across the road. Newly refurbished, the property offers a Kitchen, bathroom, lounge (with queen sofa bed and inflatable mattress and bedroom with double bed. The lounge enjoys views over the mature gardens and small holding. Guests have a small designated outdoors area, with BBQ and seating.

Cosy cottage located on the Isle of Purbeck

Tanners Cottage was built in 2014 on the land behind what was the old village shop and next to where the old tannery used to be located. The cottage is a detached property with an enclosed private garden. Located on the Isle of Purbeck (not really an island but a peninsula on the Dorset coast) and just a short drive to many local beaches it's a perfect location to relax and enjoy the generally warmer weather the south coast enjoys. Parking for one car adjacent to the cottage.

Cosy Modern Cottage - Wareham

Lovely Grade 2 listed cottage completely renovated in the centre of the historic market town of Wareham. Perfectly situated to explore the Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic coast. This cosy cottage has two bedrooms, shower room, lovely pannelled sitting room, galley kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. It is the perfect base from which to explore some of the best the South West coast has to offer.
