im a contracter and i have stayed here a few times the last couple of years when working in the area. I always try to book in if it's free as it has everything i need and Petrina and family are very welcoming. thanks again for the great stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location and fabulous views of the River Clyde. Located near various transportation options such as train, bus, ferry and taxis. Very walkable with nice shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a nice pub below the flat that is a great place for a drink. Kelly was very responsive and friendly. Thank you for the various sweets upon our arrival. Looking forward to visiting again.

If you have need to be on Rosneath peninsula, or near the boatyards, The Clachan is a very good option. Right next to Coop for supplies, clean, warm, and as described. Usable broadband if you need it - as good as you’ll get anywhere on the peninsula! Great comms from Emma & James. This our second visit, and still good as before.

We had a lovely stay at Gills flat in Helensburgh. The flat was clean and perfect for what we needed. I mistakenly thought I had booked the flat for three nights instead of two which was a genuine mistake on my part. We did return to flat promptly and empty it, so apologies again for that. Dean was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble, and because of the stormy weather, he was quick to offer a flexible booking arrangement which was so helpful to us. He was local, and was a pleasure to talk to. He was attentive, and didn't forget about us during a bad storm, checking on our well- being. The place was very comfortable, well equipped and had some lovely homely touches. The sense of being in Scotland was very much enjoyed; the pictures on the wall , books based on Scottish culture added to our enjoyment. Thank you . We hope to return soon. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting here with clear instructions for check in. An easy walk to The Duck Bay hotel with restaurants was a very nice addition here. Anne was very helpful and quick to answer any questions that we may have had. Would recommend a stay here.

If you are traveling to Gourock this is THE place to stay! The location is in the heart of town, walkable to all you want to do. The view from the flat is beautiful. The place is very modern and up-to-date. A very comfortable, relaxing stay.

Lovely place, well equipped Kitchen. Lovely and peaceful. Very comforrable and all the things you may need. Good phone reception, wifi connection and TV. Toy cupboard for our girls. Lovely bathrooms and bedrooms and beautiful views over the loch from lounge window. Lovely garden. Very helpful and welcoming host.

We had a wonderful New Year here. The stunning and ever changing views across the Clyde from the large living room windows are excellent. A great place to relax, draw and spot wildlife. The place is spacious and plenty of room for 2 couples. This is our 2nd stay and we loved it.

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

Fantastic cottage in a great location for peaceful days relaxing by the loch or for visiting Scotland. Lovely little pub just a few doors down and nice food served. Friendly host and nice welcome pack.

Wow - what can we say. We visited for my friends wedding and were totally blown away by the beautiful location and property. Cristine had thought of everything to make the space extra special - such lovely little touches (including Easter eggs which was so kind and thoughtful!) We felt instantly at home and had a wonderful few days exploring the gorgeous area. Beautifully clean, with comfortable beds and soft bed linen. If you are thinking about booking - do it!! We can’t wait to return and thank Christine for such a wonderful stay. Thank you xx

Stunning home but the views are the main attraction! Brenda helped me have the most stunning small family wedding and the photos I have are gorgeous. My family loved each of their rooms they are really modern and the beds nice and firm. Thank you Brenda!

We met Alison and Arthur at their property and they gave us the guided tour, they were very friendly and knew we already knew the area very well so didn't need to give us any information. The property was amazing, lots of space and beautiful views. There is plenty of cooking space and the dining area with the views made breakfast fabulous. The property felt like a home from home. I would highly recommend this beautiful house.

What a magical location! In the heart of the countryside and wildlife galore!! Lived sitting in the gorgeous living room with the stove on looking out the window. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay so much we will hopefully be returning later in the year. Pali & Harry were, very friendly, helpful and made our stay perfect. pubs and Restaurants on doorstep which is really handy. However be prepared for lively atmosphere from local pub at the weekend. Nevertheless joining the crowed was fun. 24 hr car park behind property, only £2 per day. Beautifulplace, Amazing views to wake up to and to go to sleep. You cannot stay at Shore Stay without feeling calm and totally relaxed. thank you Pali & Harry for a wonderful Stay

Final stay on our Scottish road trip and a fantastic way to finish the holiday. Accommodation was fantastic, lots of room, beautiful views and appreciated the reclining sofa chairs after a long walk. Would very much recommend.

We were very happy to get to stay in a castle! We had more room than we needed, and everything was clean. Had provided a little ice in the freezer and toiletries. Her Highland Coo object everywhere were adorable. Annne went above and beyond when she found out the coffee maker was broken and had one delivered so I’d have coffee on the second day!

Perfect spot to relax, breathe and take in the views. Beautiful old house, neat and clean, and tastefully well equipped.

We had a great one night stay after a day of walking. The setting is beautiful - stunning views. The room was perfect - cosy and quiet. Joanna was super helpful and responsive. We’ll certainly stay again if back in the area.

no complaints whatsoever. except we had our parents with us and the flight of stairs can be a challenge for the elderly. but they were troopers and handled it very well. overall a great experience.
