We were in town for a Celebration of Life for mom and wanted a four bedroom, two bath home. This home was perfect for our needs. Beth was very accommodating and quickly responded to my questions. The home was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was pleased with our choice. The decks and spacious yard made us feel though we were on a vacation. I would definitely go back again if we were in the area!

Fantastic stay for 8-12 people! Extremely open space, and lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. My stay involved lots of karaoke, darts, fireside chats, and enjoying coffee on the outside porch overlooking the woods. The space itself is massive, and could easily fit a large group without feeling cramped. I stayed with 7 others and we all loved the place. 10/10 would recommend! My only complaint is the amount of personal belongings that were left by the host. There was a significant amount of food and drinks left in both fridges(one in the kitchen and one in the garage) with little to no instructions on what was the hosts personal food or what was left by past guests. The bar in the garage was also stocked with some drinks and mixers, but again there were no instructions on if they were there for guests or not. A few more details about the rules could have been nice, but that is just one small complaint against so many positive features this stay has to offer!

Broken Pitchfork Farm was EXACTLY like, if not better than the pictures illustrated. It was beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and the perfect getaway from the cities. I took four teenagers out there and they did not complain once. They enjoyed all the house and farm had to offer. We extremely enjoyed the bonfire, hot tub, surrounding land, the spacious house and amenities, and the cute little animals. I especially appreciated the interior decor; all the accents complimented the house so well and just makes you feel so welcomed and at home. Adding to the house, Heather is amazing. She is extremely responsive and very friendly. She checked on me regularly and made sure I had what I needed. Additionally, Dave, the farmer, was equally great and took good care of us as well. We got to interact with the farm animals, which was an added experience that we were honored to have. Overall, it was definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had, and I will definitely be back!

We stayed at the pool house for a bachelor party and it did not disappoint! Being in early April we wanted to find a unique air bnb with something to do for 12 guys and we all had a blast swimming and throwing the football around. There are a lot of amenities, floatees, board game, tennis court with rackets etc. and the host was very thoughtful in setting this up. The kitchen was very nice and well appointed, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and we had no issues at all. I would highly recommend this place to any group getaway!

Our family of 4 stayed at Lindenhaus as we were visiting Carleton College with our two teenagers. The location was great - just 2-3 blocks to downtown Northfield and super easy to walk to the College. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but enjoyed hanging out in the living room. If you are noise-sensitive, you should know that the home is a block from a train crossing so you will hear train horns every few hours, including the middle of the night. The stairs are very steep and can be slippery when wearing socks. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our time at Brenda’s place- highlights include the excellent location for our Macalester visit and attending a United game (both walkable), the comfy beds, the terrace, the neighborhood (very quiet at night), and friendly hosts. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Bob and Lisa were very flexible with us while we were in a difficult situation. We were able to extend our stay into a second week. Thank you so much. If you like being near the water and appreciate a visit from a friendly cat while you sit on the deck, this is the place to be. Those beds are super comfy!!

Loved our stay. Had our family of five and two grandparents and it fit us very well. Beds were a little firmer than our preference, everything else was stellar!

Super comfortable place while I experienced a stressful hospitalization of my Dad. It was a perfect spot near the hospital and gave me a great night sleep with everything I needed. Very grateful for this place!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

We had a fantastic stay in Minneapolis! The space was clean, cozy, and had such a warm, homey vibe — it immediately felt like a place to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfortable, and we slept great. Our host, Andy, was incredibly accommodating and kind, especially with our late check-in, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. You can tell care was put into making this a welcoming space. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Jesse and Kris were fantastic hosts, and their AirBnb was lovely. Very much appreciated how clean it was and uncluttered. Great chi and feng shui :) The space was fabulous— high quality design and appointments. The photos can’t capture that. Very much appreciated such an updated space and kitchen with many appliances. Great light, and awesome, thriving plants! Bathroom is small but super clean with nice retro tiling. Beds, very comfortable. Jesse and Kris answered all questions quickly. There wasn’t a can opener, and they bought and delivered one within minutes. This was the best AirBnb I’ve stayed in. Didn’t meet Jesse and Kris but felt like we knew them from messaging.

We had the most magical time at this beautiful Airbnb! The home itself is stunning—every corner feels cozy, welcoming, and perfectly designed for both relaxation and fun. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or stargazing at night, nature wraps around you in the best way. There were so many outdoor activities to keep us entertained—we were never bored for a second. The activity hut was such a unique touch, and the sauna? Pure bliss after a day outside. We also loved the incredible kitchen—fully stocked with everything you could dream of for cooking up amazing meals. And don’t even get me started on the bathrooms—like a mini spa experience every time. This place has a special kind of energy. Peaceful, fun, and full of magic.

I had such a wonderful stay! From the very beginning, the hosts were very communicative and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and had a beautiful view of the lake - perfect for sunset watching. I’d highly recommend to anyone due to the peaceful feel to the cabin and great hosts.

This was our second stay at Doug’s cabin. Becoming our go to spot for a rest and reset from the city. Take a sauna, watch the river, make some food, fireplace, walk the woods, just relax and take a moment. Peaceful cabin feelings. Put some Carlos Nakai flute music on the nice stereo system and take a bath, ready to roll.

The place was serene with beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset. I loved that the the cabin was well stocked to ensure the most enjoyable stay from fire starter to fire wood. They even included a well-stocked first aid kit that we unfortunately needed to utilized. Very thoughtful hosts!

We loved, Loved, LOVED the cottage! So peaceful and serene, with beautiful views... and lots to look at inside too! Such fascinating knickknacks everywhere. Would love to hear some of the stories behind them. Enjoyed ourselves so much, we are definitely considering coming back!

Our stay here was amazing! Jill was very responsive and friendly, even reached out afterwards to check in to make sure everything went well. The bar/restaurant down the road was amazing too. We visited willow river state park and loved how close it was to the cabin. The bed was also super comfy! We appreciated the snacks/pantry goods that were included as well. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a great time - it was exactly what we were looking for - a remote cabin. Some other reviews seem to expect more than that - which is not - but it’s perfect for what it is. Maybe a little pricey given the lack of amenities but a great stay and would definitely go back

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The area was private and quiet, and we never ran out of things to do. I think our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub during the evening sunset and listening/seeing all the wildlife. We even had a bald eagle fly right over us! We hope to stay again soon!
