It's a stunning and peaceful place, with an amazing and private terrace on the fiord. The house is really cozy and well equiped and the owners' instructions were super helpful and accurate. We loved the surrounding nature, exploring the fiord with the boat we rent, and the hot tub😍. Best airbnb ever! A corner of paradise! We look forward to visiting again! ❤️

Jeg havde et par dejlige overnatninger i hytten, og det var fantastisk at kunne bruge den opvarmede spa efter en lang vandretur om dagen. Alt i alt et godt ophold.

We really enjoyed our stay at Susannes place in winter. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen (even were able to make waffels and cakes), the jacuzzi and the cozy fireplace with amazing view into the mountains. Susanne was easy reachable and was always really helpful. Would definitely recommend the place. Be aware that it might be difficult to reach the place with snow, but that is the price for nice nature. You can start hikes directly from the place. Also the city was very quite at that time (no problem for us).

Vi feiret påsken i denne fredlige hytten og fant absolutt den roen vi lette etter. Her finner man det man trenger for å nyte en god ferie. Beathe er hyggelig og proaktiv, slik at alle eventuelle spørsmål ble raskt besvart. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Hytten passer for både store og små. Vi ble positivt overrasket og fasilitetene overgikk forventningene

We had the most fantastic stay at Leon’s cabin. He was incredibly helpful and helped us up the track in our van. The cabin is so comfortable and well equipped, there has been a lot of thought put into it as there is everything you could ever need - thank you Leon. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and the view from the deck is world class. It was one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in and would love to return in the future. Thanks again for a fantastic stay!

Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner, als auf den Fotos. Wir hatten totale Privatsphäre in dem Haus, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Ole war immer zu erreichen und hat uns bei jeder Frage helfen können. Wir können diesen Ort absolut empfehlen, vor allem wenn man Ruhe und Natur sucht. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

La cabane de Vilde n’est pas juste une cabane, elle offre tout le confort souhaité. L’emplacement est très agréable avec vue sur le fjord, joli jardin avec des oiseaux dans les arbres au petit matin, et accès à la petite plage en trois minutes à pied. Très proche des ferrys au départ d’Oanes (10 minutes en voiture), et idéalement situé pour les randonnées incontournables du Lysefjord. La communication avec Vilde via la messagerie AirBnB est très rapide et efficace, et Vilde et Endre sont très amicaux. Toute la famille recommande chaudement cette location !

Stunning view with a very COZY atmosphere. Our family had a 4 night stay and were so sad to leave. Amazing and challenging hikes right outside the door. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We spent many nights together as a family cooking, reading, laughing and enjoying the magnificent views. The price was a real bargain for where we were. I would highly recommend staying here!!

Superb cabin. Beautiful sea views from the deck and a nearby beach and marina for a swim. The huge space would house a whole family or more if needed. Lovely island location with views across the archipelago. Nearby supermarkets in Hjemelandsvagen. Close enough to Lysefjord for Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) hike. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Elisabet har en virkelig skøn hytte. Fantastisk udsigt og natur lige foran hytten og ud af de store vinduer. Hunvar hurtige til at svare på spørgsmål og vi havde en rigtig god løbende kontakt under opholdet. Stor anbefaling af hytte og Elisabet som vært.

We hebben een heerlijke korte week gehad in het huis van Vegard. Ondanks dat we hem niet ontmoet hebben, hebben we heel prettig contact gehad. Hij reageert snel en vriendelijk en is behulpzaam bij vragen! Het huis ligt op een fijne rustige plek met ruime tuin en prachtige ligging aan het water. Je hebt zelfs beschikking over je eigen privé strandje en kunt een boot en kano’s gebruiken. Daar hebben wij veel plezier mee beleefd! Ook onze hond heeft zich hier goed kunnen vermaken. Je verblijft in een karakteristieke oude woning met veel charme. Ook veel ruimte en comfort. En als verrassing hadden wij zo nu en dan reeën in de tuin. In de omgeving ligt de Preikestolen, prachtige wandeling! En voor een bezoek aan Stavanger zit je hier ook ideaal. We vonden Jørpeland ook leuk! Kortom, genoeg te doen in de omgeving en rondom het huis. Een aanrader als je het ons vraagt!

What can I say. I simply love this place. This has been our fourth visit and probably won’t be our last. The views alone make it already a fantastic place, and then a very cosy house with all amenities and lots of possibilities to go hiking, running, cycling and fishing. What else could you want? Sissel and Lars are wonderful hosts who are very lovely to talk to and make you feel very welcome. If there is anything, they, or one of their sons, will gladly help you out. Many thanks again for having us stay at your place.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, ruhig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten tolles Wetter auf Idse, daher war alles trocken. Der Weg führt auf jeden Fall durch den Wald und kann nass werden. Man sollte auf jeden Fall im hellen anreisen, wir hatten bei Dunkelheit etwas schwierigkeiten das Haus zu finden, haben aber sofort Hilfe von den Besitzern bekommen. Wir hatten leider Pech mit der Verbrenner Toilette aber dafür können wir 10 Sterne an die Besitzer geben, die sich um unser Problem gekümmert haben! Die Unterkunft ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Zur Insel muss man ein Stück fahren, ist dafür aber komplett ungestört. Wir fanden unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr schön. Danke!

This cabin was AMAZING. The views are breathtaking. The cabin is modern and spacious with a stocked kitchen. The deck is a great hang out spot. Renting the boats was wonderful. We really enjoyed spending time on the water. Be prepared for a long walk to the cabin from where you park. There are wheelbarrows to help with unloading. We had a great time!

Vi hadde en fantastisk tid i dette huset. Alle var fornøyde, og alle sa enstemmig at dette stedet ga oss den beste ferien. Huset er rent, romslig og komfortabelt. Det er alt nødvendig for matlaging og dusjing. Utsikten over fjellene og havet er utrolig, og vi fikk til og med se nordlyset! På grunn av den avsidesliggende beliggenheten var stjernehimmelen helt fantastisk. Vi tilbrakte nyttår i hytta. Da vi ankom, ble vi positivt overrasket over huset som var pyntet med juledekorasjoner og et levende, pyntet juletre! Det var veldig vakkert og koselig. Tusen takk! 🩷

Wir waren eine Woche bei Bjarne und seiner Frau, die Unterkunft ist sauber mit wunderschönem Blick auf den Fjord und den Sonnenuntergang. Die beiden sind super liebe Menschen, die uns viel erzählt und gezeigt haben. Wir haben frische Eier von ihren Hühner und frisch gefangene Krebse bekommen. Und durften sogar das am Steg liegenden Paddelboot gratis benutzen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann es jedem sehr empfehlen. Besonders wenn man seine Ruhe sucht.

Skønt ophold med plads til hele familien. Vi nød roen i hytten og omgivelserne. Man kan sagtens få en hel dag til at gå med at være i hytten og på grunden - fiskeri og bål muligt, og hytten har alt det nødvendige. Det var nemt at kommunikere med Peter og Eva, de var rigtig venlige og hjælpsomme.

Een geweldige week vakantie gehad. Ontzettend genote van Noorwegen en het huisje. Tijdens het verblijf was er fijn en makkelijk contact met Thomas. Rondom het huis (buiten) was het wel wat rommelig en lag er veel kinderspeelgoed. Wel was er nog genoeg plek om lekker te zitten en te genieten. Het huisje lag op een flinke helling, deze eenmaal beklommen heb je een oase van rust. Erg genoten!

We did enjoy staying at the house so much! A group of 5 adults and 2 children felt perfectly comfortable. Children (6 and 8) had a lot of fun with toys and amenities outside! Thank you so much 🙏🏻

We walked into this place very late at night and it was cozy, warm and beautiful. The host had kindly left supplies in the fridge for us, so we weren't trying to find a grocery store at an inconvenient time. Ingvild is one of those rare hosts who seems to have anticipated all the guests needs. There were instructions on how to use everything, there were tips for things to do in the area, and there were ample supplies of basics in the kitchen and laundry room that made things so easy for us. This was a perfect location to feel secluded, but close enough to see the popular tourist sites in the area with a short drive. We looked forward to coming back each afternoon to enjoy the view from this home. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing.
