The Boiling House, Beckside

Boiling House is a truly unique, beck side property located in Staithes. The original building has been an integral part of village fishing heritage for many years. Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

This beautiful former fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1800’s is situated in the heart of the quaint village of Staithes. It has been tastefully renovated, but many of it’s original features remain. Situated on the high street just a few strides away from the beach and the Cod & Lobster pub, where you can enjoy a homemade meal and friendly atmosphere. This cosy cottage has a homely feel, perfect for relaxing in front of the fire after exploring the Yorkshire Coast and North York Moors.

Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. Corner House, in the pretty old fishing village of Staithes is over 200 years old and grade II listed. Cosy and quirky, this 2 bedroomed cottage has all the features and character of an old Fishermans cottage but with plenty of today's modern comforts. It's close to the Beck where you can watch the boats come and go and a short walk to the sea. It has been sensitively converted and comfortably furnished with everything you need for a perfect stay. Coastguards offers comfortable living in a spacious and well equipped house in the heart of the old village, close to the boats, shops, cafes and pubs.
