We had a wonderful stay at Josie's Place! The house was very bright and clean, and much bigger than I expected! The location was perfect - I could walk everywhere, including downtown, Quidi Vidi, Signal Hill, and the East Coast Trail. There is an excellent grocery store a short walk away, and it's across the street from Quidi Vidi lake, which is lovely place to walk. The house is also near major roads - very convenient for if you do need to drive somewhere - but the street is very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Where to start!! That view from the patio is incredible, everything in the space was as good as or better than advertised. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful even as we changed our reservation to stay an extra night. Would recommend this space 100% to anyone traveling to the Southern Shore!

We rented this air bnb for a mom’s night away! The hosts were extremely friendly and we felt right at home! Would 100% recommend!!

Wonderful historic home in a beautiful location. Spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Plenty of linens and towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. Every bedroom had its own bedroom, which was great too. I would definitely stay there again.

Darlene is a great host, clear communication and very responsive. It’s a beautiful property with great view.

this was our second year in a row coming back to Moments Cottage for our work retreat and it did not disappoint! The beautiful outdoors as well as the indoor decor creates such a peaceful atmosphere and the games room, swim spa and the abundance of beds make it the perfect spot for a team building or a multi family place to stay!!

We absolutely loved our stay!!! We didn’t want to leave. Beautiful surroundings, super clean, private space. We loved the hot tub and used it every night. What a beautiful place to relax and spent quality time with our family! We will definitely be using this spot as our family get away every summer!

We loved our time at Brenda's Airbnb! It was nice to Holiday like a local for a few days. The lake was great and they have nice chairs to sit in on the dock and relax. We also took the kayaks out for a morning. The boat house is roomy and we had everything we needed. Having a pool table was fun. We couldn't have ask for kinder hosts. They checked in to see we were comfortable and to see if we needed any local tips and then they left us to enjoy their property. ...And we did😊

Our stay at Anne’s was great! We were a group of 6 people spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 68, and this place met all our needs. Our kids loved the birds and chipmunks. My husband and I loved the access to the water and kayaks. My parents loved the view and hot tub. We were able to have family dinners and bbqs without any trouble. The surrounding nature was beautiful and was only a short drive to St. John’s or other historic towns (like Harbour Grace). Anne was very communicative and checked in proactively to make sure everything was alright. We are already planning our next stay. This remote cottage was perfect for us who were looking tor time to relax and connect, however the access to internet was handy for quick work check ins and a cosy evening watching a movie by the fire. Recommendations for any first time visitors to Newfoundland renting a vehicle - make sure to get one that is good for unpaved roads. Highly recommend this place.

This little gem was very clean. Its in need of a little TLC on the deck boards but very comfortable. its a lovely spot, well stocked with condiments, dishwasher, washer and dryer and its right on the lake. Lots if birds and water fowl. we found everything we needed and more. Tessa sent us an email the day we arrived should we need anything (we did not) We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. thank you Tessa!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s a little out of the way (access by gravel road) however it’s private, access to water, with dock, pedal boat, and fishing rods. The house is spacious and has everything you need, including all of the basics for cooking. All bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and more than enough towels. There’s an AC unit on top floor which cools it down appropriately but no AC in the house. Opening the windows did help cool it slightly, there are fans in all bedrooms which helped a lot on the hot days. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a getaway and need to accommodate a larger group! Julia and Dion responded within minutes to all of our inquiries- all around great hosts!

Six of stayed at this beautiful property (family of 4 with 2 grandparents). It was the perfect size for our group. We had everything we needed. Check-in instructions and household information was very clear, and communication excellent. We swam at Clarkes Beach family park which the kids loved. We visited Salmon Cove Sands beach for an afternoon (beautiful sandy beach 45 min north, $5 cash for parking). We visited and sampled spirits at the Newfoundland Distillery. And enjoyed the fantastic fire pit both nights. Close (1 hr) to St.Johns so it was an easy side trip for us while we visited family this summer. Hope to return and explore the area further another time!
