The Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is set amongst a beautiful bush setting, close to the stunning Bay of Fires beaches, and only 2.5km from the Binalong Bay township, and 8km from St Helens. The Bush Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen ready for guests to use at their leisure, or for those who would prefer to take a more relaxed option, we have our Platter Bar and pre-prepared meals made by our in-house chefs, as well as our Bush Retreat Breakfast $25pp that can be pre-booked prior to arrival.

Less than a 5 minute walk to Baileys Beach, close to the mountain bike trails of Bay of Fires (10min) and St Helens (20min). Dog friendly, workspace with hi-speed WiFi , well equipped kitchen, self contained, relaxed atmosphere. Owned and operated by hosts Lee & Chris.

Outside has private views to the bay. An outdoor cabana, pizza oven, firepit and bbq area make an ideal space to enjoy an evening meal. The town is a short 5 minute drive, or a lovely 30 minute walk along the bay. Surf beaches, dive spots, MTB tracks and National Parks are all within close proximity.

Our family have been enjoying holidays at the shack for over thirty years. Enjoy spacious living areas, stylish decor, water views and our private, bird-filled native gardens. Relax in the new outdoor bath or explore the bush track winding down to a secluded bayside beach. Not another shack in sight. Beer Barrel Beach, the Maurouard surf & Peron Dunes await at St Helens Point 8 minutes drive away as are the Mountain Bike tracks. Time to recharge and relax on the Bay of Fires coast.

The Shack on the Hill - Binalong Bay, Bay of Fires

A peaceful place to relax after exploring the beautiful Bay of Fires area, swimming, surfing, walking or mountain biking on nearby tracks. The Shack on the Hill has beautiful views across forest reserves. Keep an eye out for the amazing birdlife including parrots, cockatoos, robins, blue wrens and Sea Eagles cruising past. The cottage has a large open plan kitchen/dining and living area and a large covered deck for outdoor dining and perfect for coffee in the morning sun.

This traditional Beach Shack has magnificent views over Skeleton Bay - part of the World famous Bay of Fires Tasmania. A lovely iconic holiday house for family or friends to be able to relax in and enjoy a true Tassie holiday. The Surveyor's Cottage - Heritage and an open fire

This cottage is one of the earliest buildings on the east coast of Tasmania, being built in around 1832. Recently restored, The Surveyors Cottage has an instant appeal with its high ceilings and beautiful light from the Georgian windows. The open fire is the star attraction - so warm and welcoming.
