Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

The Whip-poor-will's Roost (pets welcome!)

Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).

This place is perfect for a quiet getaway in a spacious property with nature and farm life surrounding you. This booking comes with sleeping space for three people, a stove, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, air conditioning, heating, and many other amenities. The SheShed

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.

Less than 2 miles away from Stone Mountain State Park entrance. 30 minutes to Sparta, 30 minutes to Elkin or Wilksboro.

Set on 2 acres out of 15 privately owned the bunkhouse will feel like yours. No wifi but great connection to nature, self, and others. Outdoor fire pit and indoor wood stove are sure to keep you entertained in both cold and warm weather. Newly added mini split will keep the chill off in winter and heat out in summer. Black bear, wild turkey, and deer are the only visitors you will have. Set atop a large waterfall the sound of the falls is audible throughout the property.

This jewel is a short drive to the iconic Main Street with Snappy Lunch, Floyd’s Barber Shop, & the Andy Griffith Museum. Nestled along the path of the “Surry County Wine Trail”, you’ll only be 1/4 mile from the tasting room at Serre Vineyards. Wake up to a custom timber frame ceiling and head down the handcrafted staircase to start your day. Enjoy your coffee on the wrap around rocking chair front porch while planning your time here in Mayberry.

Grove Cabin 20 acres of privacy (no extra fees)

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285." NOTE: GPS systems are sending people to the coordinates of the cabin and not the entrance road. Always come in via NC-16--John Halsey-Weavers Ford-East Weavers Ford.
