It was a great place with a lot of amenities. An older house that has been updated with care. The town was very user friendly and even in the winter there are many activities to keep busy without having to stand in line. Highly recommend St Andrew by the Sea.

We looked for a secluded place away from hustle and bustle for a few days and, boy, did we find it! Beautiful surroundings, very well thought out space design and unique, detailed decorations. Kate thought of everything from beach towels to sunscreen to emergency kit. The beach had kayaks, the outdoor space had a deck towering over the magnificent river views where one could enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The place is immersed in serenity of the surrounding woods and St. Croix River. The charming historic town of St. Andrews is just 20 minutes away where one can enjoy quaint little shops and nice restaurants serving delicious local food. A beautiful place worth spending a quiet time in.

Kelley was pleasure to deal with, and very responsive. The property was as described, very scenic and comfortable with everything we needed. We were there to celebrate a family birthday and there was plenty of room for 10 of us. Thank you for sharing your lovely property.

Tally’s Lake House is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the serene beauty of the lake and the cozy charm of the home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the view of the water and enjoying morning coffee on the deck felt like a dream. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway in a truly beautiful setting, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Five stars plus!!! Lisa was an excellent host. She communicated clear check-in instructions, provided various local recommendations, followed up after we arrived, and gave us several very thoughtful welcoming gifts. Lisa's place is spotlessly clean, felt like home, and has an absolutely gorgeous view. The deck is perfect for a morning coffee or evening beverage. Walks on the beach right out the back yard felt like having the ocean all to myself.

Stunning views and sunsets across the Bay of Fundy. Wonderful accommodations and exceptional owners who are now friends. So much to enjoy on this quiet, historic island.

Annabelle is such a wonderful host. She is incredibly hospitable, kind, flexible and generous. Her place is exquisite and immaculately cared for. The scenery is stunning and the amenities were perfect. The hot tub was lovely. This place is like a little piece of paradise.

Colin, to say your place was pristine is an understatement! Colin's place was brand new and overlooked the bay and surrounded by white pines (my favourite tree!). It was very close to St. Andrew's, which was a beautiful, quaint little town with many shops and breweries to explore. It is also a one hour drive from both St. John's and Fredricton. While we did not get the chance to go to Fredricton, we did drive to St. John's which is a beautiful little city with breweries on every street! Thank you Colin for sharing your beautiful and welcoming space with us!

Rachel was so kind and even had a card and treat waiting for us once we arrived. Everything was perfect! Beautiful scenery and right on the lake. There are only two things I would note. There isn’t a microwave just and the shower fluctuates from hot to cold randomly.

We had such a wonderful 3 night stay here! The cottage is so clean,nicely decorated,spacious and comfortable. The unit for ac/heat works is very fast and efficient. We loved all the sitting areas in and around the cottage,and really enjoyed sitting on the dock for morning coffee and evening cocktails and were lucky to see beautiful sunrises and even a gorgeous moonrise from there one night as well. The kayaks and canoe were such a bonus,and were so fun to tour around the beautiful lake on. It was so quiet and peaceful this time of year and we could even hear the loons on the lake. We also enjoyed exploring some of the trails,towns and restaurants nearby that Tammy suggested in her welcome book. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us,we can’t wait to return! 😊

Superb hostess, very well appointed cottage from kitchen set up to bathroom. Excellent screened porch, great views of the lake from every window, loved the kayaks and canoes, firewood and fire ring, peanuts to feed the chipmunks- we can’t say enough about how lovely the cottage is and how much we enjoyed our stay!

This was our second summer staying at the cottage. Everything you need is there, including kayaks and a canoe. If you are looking for a peaceful place to recharge, this is the cottage for you!

This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! It was a wonderful cottage - there was nothing we 'wanted for' right down to Q-tips in the bathroom! It really was a home away from home. The location was gorgeous, with a fabulous view of the lake. Karen is a very gracious host, making sure that we had everything we needed, as well as greeting us upon our arrival. We look forward to a return visit to Karen's cottage next summer.

I did a bit of a longer stay here and really enjoyed it. Amanda and Jay were very accommodating and communicative, oftentimes proactively reaching out to see if I needed anything. The location is beautiful and while there is a house that is quite close to the bunkie (it's not quite as private as the pictures suggest), the overall area feels quite remote and serene. It's a great place to disconnect and enjoy nature.
