The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

Our entire vacation was ruined. We spent a week touring NB and PEI and never again experienced the level of serenity and hospitality that we enjoyed at Debbie & Neil’s. The home was immaculate, and Neil took the time to show us around even though we arrived later than expected. Upon leaving, we instantly regretted not booking the place for the entire week (though it likely wasn’t available). We are already looking for an excuse to come back and spend some quality time in L’Etete and with Debbie and Neil.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect and the view spectacular. Highly recommend a stay in this great place.

The stay at the cottage was great. My family used it as a base for exploration and fishing. The house had all we needed and more. There are a lot of historical displays in the cottage to capture the region over the years. My husband's family is from the area, and we greatly appreciated the small features that made him feel at home. We could stay in the yard to enjoy whales, pods of porpoises, seals, and eagles. Most interesting was the eagle that ate his breakfast on the tree in the yard. The screen-in room off the master bedroom is fantastic and I will have one made for my home now. It is wonderful to be outside but not-really-outside when there are too many bugs at dusk. Thank you, Dennis, for having us.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend with a few friends! Right from the start we were made to feel welcome with a welcome basket with everything we needed for smores including fire starters and sticks in addition to nice handwritten note. We all loved the cottage inside with more than enough room for both kids and adults to relax or play games, sleep and eat supper. Outside was also great with the bbq, fire pit, propane fire table, especially at night with the amazing stars!), yard games and of course the beautiful lake especially with the leaves at this time of year! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and a little swimming repeatedly including the last morning after the hosts graciously allowed us to check out a couple hour later! We, especially the kids, also enjoyed the visits from a very friendly pug the hosts had told us would likely drop by. All in all I highly recommend staying at Shore Thing Cottage! We will definitely consider coming back!

The place was just as described, and Amanda and Jay are super responsive and helpful. The bunkie is cozy and small so make sure to not pack too much. Have had a ton of fun exploring the area, kayaking in the bay, or just reading next to a fire.

Nous avons vécus un beau séjour paisible dans la petite maison. Jenna est très gentille et accueillante. Elle nous a même accomodé suite à une erreur de ma part sur la plateforme airbnb. Elle très proactive. Nous avons adoré les belles plages et le calme de White head.

Had a lovely two week stay at Holly’s cottage on White Head island. The house and the island are from a different era but the rustic charm only adds to the ambiance. Enjoy the scene from the large bay window in the kitchen with the extreme tides, fisherman, and the comings and goings of the ferry in full view. This cottage offers a rare chance to unplug and disconnect. The beds are comfy and house supplies are aplenty. There is a nice selection of DVDs if you want to watch TV. Plus Holly was a friendly and responsive host. To consider- Note the time difference on White Head island (Atlantic Standard Time · AST). Check both ferry schedules. Make a reservation for the Blacks Harbour/Grand Manan Ferry. There is about a 15 min drive from the Grand Manan ferry to the White Head ferry (which is free and about a 20 min ride). There are no stores on White Head so plan to bring all the essentials to the island with you.

Vince's cabin is the ideal retreat! Nestled in a secluded spot, it's just a short walk down a wooded path to the beach. The backyard features a deck overlooking a fire pit, perfect for evening bonfires; Vince thoughtfully provided kindling and firewood. Inside, the cabin has a warm and inviting feel. My daughter described it as "cozy rustic." The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings ensured I slept wonderfully both nights. Vince has thought of everything you might need during your stay, even a spare toothbrush in case, like one of my children, you forget yours. Vince also went the extra mile by providing breakfast for the first morning, a lovely touch. The internet connection was reliable, and I appreciated the convenience of the washer and dryer. The clawfoot bathtub was perfect for a long, relaxing soak. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return if it's available. Vince was prompt in responding to texts and a gracious host. I wholeheartedly recommend

Annabelle was amazing from booking to departure. She welcomed us upon arrival and provided us very detailed instructions on everything available to us. She provided history of the area. She was non-intrusive after the initial welcome but quickly responded when we asked questions. I honestly cannot think of one bad thing to say about her. It was a great experience for us. One of the things we liked the most was the remoteness of the location allowed for an opportunity to have very little light pollution. This allowed for the beauty of the cosmos to be seen in a way we cannot see in our home area very much. If you hear the Northern Lights may be in New Brunswick, this is the place to book! And you get the pleasure of meeting a great Super Host on top of it all! Thank you to Annabelle for the opportunity to stay there!

We looked for a secluded place away from hustle and bustle for a few days and, boy, did we find it! Beautiful surroundings, very well thought out space design and unique, detailed decorations. Kate thought of everything from beach towels to sunscreen to emergency kit. The beach had kayaks, the outdoor space had a deck towering over the magnificent river views where one could enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The place is immersed in serenity of the surrounding woods and St. Croix River. The charming historic town of St. Andrews is just 20 minutes away where one can enjoy quaint little shops and nice restaurants serving delicious local food. A beautiful place worth spending a quiet time in.

What a great escape for a night. It’s the first dome I’ve ever seen that has the two stories which was excellent to have a bit more space and another bed for one of us to lay on and read. Super convenient that it was dog, friendly, and the hot tub was phenomenal.we will be back

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The water was perfect for swimming and relaxing on the dock. I highly recommend bringing a canoe or kayak as the bay is calm and lots to explore. Ella Mae was a fantastic host and very responsive. Highly recommend and we look forward to going back.

We loved our stay at the House of Dreams; it was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the cove. Jason and Aimee left us some thoughtful treats, and the home was beautifully decorated. It was fun perusing the library including great info on the local flora and fauna. The beach was only a few steps away and it was so restful to hear the ocean and hunt for treasures on the beach. We would definitely love to return!

Perfect getaway-Campobello is a low key, quiet place-not a lot of eateries, but I know the area and didn’t expect that. Fabulous setting, deck with views, seals, eagles, tides. Read 3 books in 6 days! Fully equipped cottage/kitchen. No wifi but that's fine too. Loads of dvds to watch on a nice big screen…

Truly beautiful place. Private but convenient to everything. Very comfortable and has all the amenities. We enjoyed every moment.
