Enjoy an Adventure in "Glamping" at Highland House on Pittsburgher Highland Farm. This custom built Tiny House is situated on over 100 acres of rolling farmland, hills and forests, with Scottish Highland cattle, chickens, sheep & lambs, pigs, fish in the pond, and 2 beehives. You have use of the entire farm during your stay. Located about 45 minutes south-east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, there is lots to see and do both on site and nearby. Private 1 bedroom cabin on 14 acres

Beautiful cabin in the Laurel Highlands minutes away from 3 ski resorts and many miles of trails through state forest land. Tons of local trout fishing streams. Spectacular mountain view from picture windows on either side of wood burning fireplace and from outside firepit. Cabin is situated on 14 partially wooded, partially open acres. Views of woods, mountains, and wildlife from all windows. Short drive to a number of tourist attractions, including Idlewild, OhioPyle, and Ft. Ligonier

Log Cabin

The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the secondary bedroom includes a full-size bed. The living area is equipped with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, and the loft adds two twin mattresses for additional accommodations, ideal for kids. The cabin’s kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including an oven and refrigerator and microwave. Whether you're enjoying time indoors or exploring the outdoors, this cabin offers the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.

Sunbeams Cottage

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

Cozy Creekside Cabin + Walking Trails

Explore the over 5 acres of land included with our Private cabin. Enjoy the sounds and sights of Powdermill Run Creek while nestled up on the patio or screened in porch. Take in the 2,200 acres of woodlands, streams, fields, ponds while you hike on the trails of Powdermill Nature Reserve. Have a fire in the smokeless stove next to the creek or cook a woodfire pizza in the stone oven. Bring your tents, outdoor games and any other outdoor activities to make your stay special.

Harriet's Highlands Hideaway

Nestled in the heart of the Laurel Mountain Highlands on the 10th hole of a popular local golf course 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh, Harriet's Highlands Hideaway is a charming and spacious six-bedroom, three-bathroom, three-story home perfect for family gatherings and weekend getaways with friends. Featured on the local historical society tour of historic homes, the house, originally constructed in 1830, is decorated tastefully with antiques and touches true to its nature.

Welty Place

Welty Place is a relaxing getaway nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It is just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hours drive. Ohiopyle, Falling Water, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.
