Can't recommend Nick's wagon enough, brilliant location with loads to see and do in the area, even in bad weather. Nick was a great host, very helpful and accommodative, showed us arounfd the are and even let us have some of the kale from his garden to use in our meals.

Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing time at Helen's place for my 40th birthday. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Our toddler loved spending time with the alpacas, rabbits and horses and there was plenty of space for him to roam around in. We had a lovely BBQ in beautiful sunshine and surrounds. We definitely want to return! Thank you so much!

Amanda was very nice to welcome us to her place. She gave a really details instruction. You will have everything you need, and especially you have mount views. The restaurant, supermarkets are nearby. The best and special thing is that there is a Sauna. We enjoyed it a lot!

Located right next to a restaurant (The Church), a small dairy that sells groceries and 2-3 mins away from the lake! Nice quiet neighbourhood. While there was no oven, the kitchen is well equipped with cooking ware and a dishwasher! Good location for Doubtful sound and in fact Milford sound! Carolyn was very responsive and friendly! There is also a detailed, thoughtfully prepared manual on the table about the house + neighbourhood. Highly recommended :)

Clever design of a compact space with beautiful mountain views. A very relaxing retreat in rural surroundings and yet very convenient for Queenstown and Arrowtown attractions.

We are so thankful for Vickie’s hospitality. It was cosy and just what we needed for accommodation. As a base for Queenstown. The views were incredible and peaceful plus the property backed right onto a wonderful trail. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you for having us Vickie and we hope to stay again in future!

A lovely quiet place to stay, toasty warm with the fire, no light pollution which was awesome. It is just round the corner from Ayrburn which is stunning. Really comfortable and we would definitely come back here.

We met Mari when we arrived & had nice natter prior to unloading the car. We found the accommodation excellent and Marc had provided made additional extra in the kitchen which we didn’t expect, some nice touches… Also, there were pictures on the walls making it quite homely and finally, the wifi login was a breeze, due to his gadgets… Go Mari! We’ll certainly return when we visit Cromwell.

Beautiful place to stay, we’re so gutted we didn’t get to spend longer here. We’ll be back!

Perfect place to stay at for anyone doing the Milford Sound Cruise or Glowworm Caves. The location is close to central Te Anau but still very quiet and private. The tiny home is equipped with everything you need. Would recommend this place!

Melanie was an amazing host! She provided very clear instructions upon check in and provided great recommendations. The house is absolutely cozy with a stunning view of queenstown and the lake. Neighborhood is very peaceful yet very accessible to get to places, especially heart of Queenstown and Glenorchy. A book with information on how to use the amenities such as sauna, hot tub, fireplace etc was very helpful. Melanie was also very responsive whenever we had any questions. Super value for price, it felt like a chalet that you would have pay for 1000 euros a night. Highly highly recommend!!

Stayed with my small family in Sarah’s place. She was pleasant to chat with and was very flexible with our accommodation. The stay was very comfortable and peaceful in the area. The place was clean and we used if not all, most of the amenities and what was stated was definitely available. Parking near the stay was very good bec it was raining that time. My son and I even tried the hot spa which we enjoyed very much after a trip around. We would definitely book again SOON! Thank you very much Sarah. ❤️

The best part is the view!! Absolutely stunning to wake up and see that view of the Wānaka hillsides. We also really enjoyed the outdoor bath, which was private and peaceful! Great host recommendations, thoughtful touches, and fun decor! Things to note: I found it a little unique that the only sink was in the bathroom - so keep that in mind if you plan on enjoying meals there. Other reviews mention the stairs to get up to the space. I wouldn’t recommend if you have a hard time walking uphill/downhill or feel uncomfortable driving a bit up a hill on a winding road. It totally suited our needs and we enjoyed the privacy, views, and wow factor. I would definitely recommend staying if you’re looking for a little slice of heaven 5 minutes driving from town.

Megan is a lovely host, very responsive and answered all my questions. This is a must stay cabin, views are breathtaking, place is immaculate, its a lot bigger than you think and never did we feel it was too small. we had all the amenities we needed during our stay and wifi is provided. be mindful there is no stove available but there is a Webber BBQ. If you love landscape and astrophotography this is your stay. location is about 10min drive into ain't centre and roads are very quiet. there's also a big mountain right at the doorstep you can hike up. this has been our favourite airbnb stay to date.

We had a comfortable one-night stay with everything we needed. The unit offers beautiful autumn mountain views and is conveniently close to the river walking track. While the outdoor seating was appreciated, it wasn't usable during cold, frosty mornings and evenings. Cath was a great communicator and thoughtfully added salt to the porch to prevent us slipping in the morning frost.

We felt entirely rejuvenated after 2 nights at Cy's gorgeous old cottage, after a 5 day tramp. We adored all the added luxuries- the wood to keep the fire roaring, the well resourced kitchen to create non-dehy meals, and all the books and mags to lie around reading. We loved the soul and character of the place (& of Cy!) as well as the beauty of the Autumn garden and surrounding mountain views. We're now in our last night in a generic greige hotel in Queenstown before our flight home tomorrow and I know which place I'll be recommending everyone to go stay!!!
