Great, private location in Homosassa. Easily walkable to McRae's, the Monkey Bar and a few other spots. The house is as described on AirBnB. It is spacious and comfortable. Susan is a great and quick responding host!

Orit was so accommodating and friendly. She even went out of her way to install a tv in the bedroom for us. The place was super clean with everything you would need. The whole house is very spacious and comfortable like home. The linens were clean, comfortable and not old and dingy. I would definitely come back to this airbnb any day. Highly recommend

We were very happy to find this house. It was perfect for two couples. The best part was taking the provided kayaks out to seven sisters springs. Beautiful. There was also a canoe for those that don’t like kayaks.

Had a lovely stay. The accommodation is clean, tidy and possibly the best equipped property I have stayed at. Managed to catch a couple of fish off the deck and were lucky enough to encounter 2 dolphins whilst out kayaking. Will definitely stay here again. The Accomodation had everything you could possibly need. Only negative was if you are prone to being bitten bring some insect repellent, I am and suffered, wife and daughter aren’t so laughed at my misfortune. Insect bites are not uncommon around Hudson, happened last time we came and again only I seem to suffer!!

Excellent house on a canal that leads to seven sister springs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. We saw an alligator off the back dock our first day and lots of turtles and fish each day. The house is within close distance to lots of fun activities-we swam with manatees and floated the rainbow river while there. There are multiple kayak outfitters within walking distance of the house so if you do not like sit in kayaks you have very close rental options.

We loved the porch and being on the canal, surrounded by wildlife. The internet connection only worked intermittently, but I don't think this was the host's fault nor under their control, and they were very responsive when we asked about it.

Exactly as described, great accommodations, very responsive. All you want in a great lake house. Thank you very much.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

Highly recommended! I had a wonderful time with my family and friends. We loved the location , the river in-front of the house and the access to do the Kayak. Very peaceful and calm place. Also, communication with Tawnya was excellent.

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

I wish I could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful with so many thoughtful touches. Andrew’s place was clean, spacious, and had the most gorgeous views of the water. The highlight of our stay was the outdoor spaces! We loved eating outside on the spacious deck, drinking morning coffee on the lounge chairs, and going for multiple paddles in the provided kayaks and paddle boards. I hope to book again soon!

We arrived at Maria's place and it looked just like the photos, it was beautiful. If you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. My husband loves fishing and they have a boat dock and kayaks you can use. It was the perfect place for him to fish and relax on the water. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day afte walking around sight seeing the gorgeous surroundings. Maria gave us alot of great advice as to where to go eat and also the best places for my husband to go fishing.

Words can’t describe the peacefulness and tranquility of this place! If you love peace and quiet and enjoy nature’s beauty, this is the place for you! Hanging out on the deck, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying the scenery with my husband for our 22nd anniversary was just what we needed! The bed was comfy and the toilet seat was amazing haha! The perfect getaway for us! We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods ! My 3 kids 6, 3 and 1.5 really made the most of it and enjoyed it very much ! The walk to the lake is doable and they accommodate for everything by providing things like a dish scrubber, wagon, life jackets, this is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at !

We will definitely be back! We had a list of things to do, but spent most of our time outside of the cabin relaxing. We didn’t get to kayak since there was a flood that took them away which was a bummer, but still worth it. Has everything you need and close to tons of things to do!

We had a great time! It was a perfect bayou scenery and getaway! We brought our canoe (even though they have kayaks as well). We saw alligators and many birds! They had everything we needed plus more! I loved our little welcome treats. It was such a thoughtful touch!

Lynn was a great host - very responsive to our questions about the area and the amenities. She even went by and left a fire starter for us for the fire pit in case the wood was wet and hard to light. We didn’t even ask, she was just that kind and proactive. We loved the cabin and its quiet, peaceful location on the lake. It’s also very close to the Spring River and we spent a nice day fishing. The fried pickles and nachos at the walkable restaurant/bar nearby were spectacular, and the locals were friendly as well. We ate on the deck which also had a nice view of the lake. The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean, and easy to find even if it the GPS was a little confused. We will definitely return. It was the perfect place for a getaway for this couple.

Rebecca’s cabin was lovely! Exactly as described with a great deck overlooking the river. Our trip was unfortunately cut short by threat of flood, but Rebecca and Leanne were extremely kind and helpful through the process. Thank you!!

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!

I am a 51 yr old retired tree hugging bunny kisser....I love nature, peace, bird song, wildlife, etc ....this place checks all the boxes.....Okenefenokee did not disappoint, and the green space here is unmatched. From the friendly folks that fish the river, to the AMAZING Kites (birds), Barred Owls, Egrets, Wood ducks.... incredible. I travel around 6 trips a year, and celebrated my 32nd anniversary here. We will be back, it has a place in my heart. The things that are important to me were met above and beyond expectations...The beds were comfy, green space was beautiful, location was perfect for what we wanted to do, and the Wildlife was off the charts.
