We absolutely loved our stay here. Hazel wrote to us and gave clear instructions for arrival as well as coming to say hi once we got there. The accommodation was lovely and cosy. The amount of space to walk around in the forest was excellent even if we weren’t brave enough to do the flying fox. The Dutch hot tub was excellent once we got it hot and we spent a lovely evening listening to the sound of the forest. Highly recommend (my 4yr old loved all the books as well)

We couldn't have wished for a nicer stay in the New Forest! The cottage is equipped everything you need, is located in beautiful surroundings with ample cycling routes nearby, and has a hot tub as an added bonus. Cindy and Lina are super accommodating and attentive hosts. We will most definitely be returning!

First of all we have to give credit to Ashley who was a fantastic host. Had a minor issue and Ashley responded and dealt with it straight away. It was clear he wanted to ensure his guests had a perfect stay. The cottage itself was perfect and exactly as described in the listing. Extremely spacious and stocked with all the items you might need. The garden and outdoor hot tub/living area is incredible. We were fortunate to have good weather during Easter and I imagine during the warmer months it would be even more idyllic. We had three children in our party and they loved all the space. Location is ideal for exploring the island. We went to The Needles, Shanklin, Sandown, Tapnell Farm and Robin Hill and were never more than 25 minutes away. Highly recommend Ashley's cottage and we can't wait to return one day.

The Stables Cottage is set in a quiet and peaceful location, perfect for exploring the surrounding area. During our stay, we visited the New Forest, Salisbury (using the conveniently located Park and Ride), Bournemouth, and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard—all easily accessible by road.

Had a great time at the Wisteria Lodge - very clean, hosts were very friendly and was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Would recommend!

Very lovely hosts and the place in general is lovely for little families. The property has a very safe enclosed garden which is perfect if you've got little ones. The property is on the grounds of their own property which is something to be mindful of if you're expecting complete privacy. My only negative is that the basic necessities like tea/coffee/sugar are not provided to give you that little head start if you've travelled a long journey. That being said, the place is a beautiful little getaway x

A perfect find for a relaxing weekend with friends. This place was spotless, peaceful, spacious, filled with everything you could possibly need, and in a perfect location. We really appreciated the instructions written throughout the house, it meant there was no room for confusion and we didn't have a reason to message the host all weekend as they'd covered everything. We will absolutely be coming back.

Such a beautiful hideaway on the edge of the New Forest. Chrissy was a perfect host with communication from booking my stay, and during, to make sure I was happy and letting me know she was there if I needed her. I will definitely be booking this idyllic cottage again, next time for longer as I didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Chrissy.

Lovely little cottage. Really cosy and plenty of space. Great pubs nearby all in walking distance, and some lovely walks too. Great place to take the dogs! Thank you for such a lovely break!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage. Stunning location and extremely comfortable. The towels, beds and bedding are dreamy, the little soaps left were gorgeous and the dog towel, bowls and treats were a really thoughtful addition. In all, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and simply did not want to leave.

perfect location as in the very centre of the town. great place to stay and relax at night. kitchen is essential but working. we had an issue with the coffe machine that was solved properly and rapidly by the host. super clean and with special treatment and bottle of rosé from the host. the kitchen hob is a bit slow so not ideal if you are a chef otherwise great location and value for money. we will comeback

Fantastic stay - easy to find, great location, easy access, great beds/bedrooms and a beautiful garden. We were welcomed by a lovely handwritten note, the most delicious lemon drizzle cake and a few other little treats. Lovely and amazingly well-stocked kitchen/dining area - Hazel has thought of everything, and communicated brilliantly to check there wasn't anything else we needed. Bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, with flexible twin/king beds in the second bedroom, a lovely large main bathroom en-suite to the master bedroom, and a very nice shower/bathroom downstairs. Stairs are narrow but the listing makes this very clear, and Hazel was super-helpful in organising stair gates for my toddler. The garden was beautiful (photos don't do it justice!) and the area was lovely - 10-15 minutes walk along the road into Brockenhurst, and a perfect location to explore the New Forest. We're already figuring out when we can visit again!

This was honestly the nicest house we have ever stayed in. It was truly beautiful, SO clean, well located and so well equipped. Everything in the house was high end and of the highest quality. The gardens are vast and beautiful and our children could (and did) play safely. It was the perfect base to explore all of the surrounding areas. Although we actually cancelled one of our planned activities out purely to stay at the house one day and enjoy all it has to offer. We would not hesitate to return or recommend this house to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped. We loved all the extra touches as well. We had great weather and so we could enjoy the gorgeous garden and then the wood burner in the evening. Thank you so much for having us and we will definitely be back.

Totally exceeded our expectations! Beautiful accommodation in a perfect setting. James was instantly and reassuringly responsive to the few queries we had on arrival which would have been easily answered had we read the Welcome Pack! We really can't thank James & Harriet enough for thinking about the detail and for pre-empting every need. We'll most certainly return!

We had a great time at Patricia’s place. It’s a great, peaceful location. The house is very warm and welcoming and extremely well stocked. Patricia is a fantastic host who left us cookies, fruits and even some basic groceries. Upon knowing that it was our daughter’s birthday, she even kept gifts and a card for her, how sweet! We were a family of 5 and were very comfortable. We were able to make day trips to Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton! We cannot recommend enough about this beautiful airbnb and its host. Just bear in mind, parking outside the Airbnb is very limited, but there is plenty of parking within a few mins walk.

This is a great location for exploring the New Forest and Hampshire generally - close to main roads but very quiet. Diane is a lovely host and her house was ideal - two staircases reach up to the bedrooms, two at one end and an ensuite bedroom at the other end. There's a second bathroom under the two bedrooms, so for two sets of adults and two little children it worked wonderfully well, and Diane offered a stairgate too. A pub across the road (but no noise from it) and a small supermarket about 250 yards away really help too. There's a sitting room but also a small office and a separate room with a TV/DVD setup which suited the little ones, and a good selection of games and DVDs. We'd certainly recommend it.

A great place to stay. Walking distance to markets, transportation and restaurants. The garden in the back was a beautiful peaceful place to sit and relax after exploring all day. The home has all you need to be comfortable and the kitchen is equipped to make a nice meal if you want to eat in.

Lovely clean property. it was just as the description and photos showed. Stephen instructions were absolutely perfect and he responded to our messages quickly and efficiently

This was our second stay here as we were so impressed the first time. Sarah is the perfect host, leaving us alone yet making sure we're OK too. She really has thought of everything and if there isn't something there that you require, I would imagine she would go out of her way to try and provide it for you. Lovely location if you like rural peace and quiet, which we do. We tried the local pub this time too and we weren't disappointed, lovely pub meals in a cosy, traditional setting. We could not recommend this lovely place enough!

Great flat on Lyndhurst high street. Couldn't be more central. Supermarket, bike hire, pubs, restaurants all (literally) on the doorstep. Plus the beautiful New Forest, moments away.
