We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We are so happy we got to stay at the cottage during our visit. It was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. I look forward to visiting again.

This a fabulous place to stay. It is so beautifully curated so that even though it is not a large space the hosts have included everything you need. There is a very, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, games,a great entertainment system, and its steps from the beach. If you like to walk you can easily access trails as well as the main strip. Fabulous! Thank you!

My stay here was wonderful! The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures. It was very cozy and clean! My group really enjoyed the amount of activities there were to do from kayaking, to trampolining, to relaxing in the hot tub! Thank you so much Amanda for the lovely getaway ☀️⛱️

We wanted a relaxing getaway and that’s exactly what we got. Gorgeous sunset view from a hot tub, doesn’t get anymore zen than that. Great place!

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment is presented well in the photos. We loved our stay and the access to the lake and pool. Homeowner was quick to respond by sms. It’s important to know that the “third” bedroom is an open loft space, doesn’t work if you need a 3rd room with a bed and a door and all that but does work if you know what to expect. We were not provided enough towels or any hand towels, in a place with 3 bathrooms. We did find that a bit odd. Either than that great stay.

Had a small bachelor party here recently and I couldn’t be happier! The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people ever! They went above and beyond and were always making sure we had everything. They gave recommendations on where to go and what to do, but they were also respectful of our time and space. Karen and Russell were very gracious hosts, it is a basement apartment but it wasn’t too loud upstairs and we were as quiet as we could be without restricting our own fun. The area is great and even the neighbours were nice and friendly. There’s lots to do around, and it’s not far from the village, where there’s more to do. I will be coming back with my wife and son, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent priced accommodation in a lovely area.

We had a great weekend at Cedar’s resort. Our cozy cottage was perfect with close proximity to some great hikes!

We LOVED our honeymoon at Laurie's place! It was exactly the relaxing, cozy, peaceful getaway spot we were dreaming of. Great location - even in the winter! Laurie is a fantastic host: friendly, chill, accommodating and invested in our enjoyment of the place. We really like how she provided clear instructions - and the nice little labels in various places in the house tickled our fancy! We cooked most of our own food all week and the kitchen was fully equipped with a nice full fridge, suitable dual hotplate, nice big sink for dishes and all the equipment needed. Laurie mentioned doing some woodworking and there was a nice solid wood cutting board in the kitchen and lovely live-edge wood in various places in the home. We appreciated the decor, and loved the wood paneling on the walls - the whole place smells nice because of it. The bed was comfortable and there was ample space in the home and extra linens. We loved the local handmade soap, too! We'd love to return next year!

If you want the beauty of Lake Huron mixed with peace and quiet… this is the place to be! The cottage was perfect and we had a great week of relaxation. I loved the real cottage feel without the added materialism. Lots of laughs shared and enjoyment to be had. My family and I really appreciated the homie touches here and there throughout. Would definitely stay again!

Shelly was super welcoming, called in advance of our arrival offering earlier access if required, and ended up letting us stay late after we couldn't get in till late on the first day! Love the place and the beach right next to us. Will come back for sure!

We 4 friends stayed for a week. The large 2-storey cottage on a quiet cul de sac was spacious with multiple bedrooms and plenty of lounge area in and a large deck out, with a beautiful view of the bay looking east out to Georgian Bay – morning sun out front, most sleeping areas in the back to allow sleeping in! 1-1/2 baths, with the half an en suite. A sandy bottom bay with long shallow great for kids, well-constructed fire pit, and kayaks await outside. Inside is a large modern fridge and deluxe gas range, an island bar counter, large dining area overlooking the bay. No TV but you won’t miss it with all the activities in the area – close to supplies in Wiarton, Lion’s Head, and incredible lookout points on the Bruce Trail. No A/C but evening temps are reasonable, at worst open a window and enjoy the ceiling fans. Great high-speed internet. We all came away relaxed and happy to recommend this as a truly Great Canadian getaway.

Always a great stay at the Red Bay get away. We have been twice now and both times we had amazing time. The place is always nice and clean, they have lots of board games, free WiFi, appliances. We go here for the sunsets though. Some of the best sunsets we have ever seen!

Loved this location - beach right across the road with chairs provided to take over and enjoy! Easy walk to town for restaurants and cafes and shopping. Just a beautiful town and perfect cottage to enjoy it! All the needed equipment and extra provided. Bedding was so lovely! Can’t say enough! Highly recommend!

We had an enjoyable time during our stay. The sauna was a wonderful bonus. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were even able to see the Milky Way from the yard.
