This is a lovely and comfortable house. The host is extremely generous. We very much enjoyed are stay and are trying to return as soon as possible.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

The cabin was very spacious and welcoming. I loved the homey feel of the place. The fireplace was lovely to use and Christo was clear about being able to use the firewood. Coffee maker and water boiler worked great and the kitchen was decently stocked. WiFi was good and easy to use. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

We truly enjoyed the stay. Communication was excellent and home was actually bigger than we realized from the pictures. The home had so many amenities. Wish we wouldn't have been so busy working ... would have enjoyed relaxing in the back yard more. If we visit with the family again, we would definitely like to stay here again. Thanks Karl.

Peaceful retreat with a great gym!

the little house was perfect for us and our dog. In town, but above the main hub. The house is as described. the charm of the "old bones", in the floor, doors, and simple decor, was a good fit. We enjoyed walking everywhere and taking our pup with us. A very dog friendly town.

Loved the house! Wendy provided very thorough instructions and information that made the home easy to locate. We loved the fun decor and the historic aspects of the home. The grounds were very green and pretty. It was a perfect place to stay while attending a wedding across the street at the Foresthill Lodge. I'd definitely recommend this spot.

Had such a wonderful, beautiful and relaxing stay! Communication was great! The house is great, and the land is magnificent truly a stunning place! The tranquility and the essence of this place is unmatched, it was everything I needed and more!

We didn’t have an AWD vehicle so we couldn’t make it up the hill, so we did park at the bottom- which was a little difficult. Had to make a couple trips and it is a decent walk especially in the rain and mud. Just make sure you are prepared for a walk or bring a vehicle that can handle big ruts and really muddy roads! (Not the hosts fault by any means and they clearly state that you need an AWD car in details!) The outdoor bathtub was frickin amazing! I felt like I was at a spa retreat. We loved this cozy cabin. Bed was comfy, things were clean, and everything was straightforward and easy to use. Kitchen had a rather miscellaneous selection of utensils and such so I’d suggest keeping it simple for meals. We went on a short walk around the property and came back with quite a few ticks. So that was not fun, but also not anyone’s fault. All in all- would absolutely 10/10 recommend staying here! I wish I could live there!

Ian and Mila were lovely hosts- friendly, helpful and responsive. Their pup Barkley was so sweet and friendly and we were so happy to get to meet him. Would definitely return!

The yard was the real gem for us— hours of outdoor play right outside the door. We arrived to fresh snow and got more! It is as magical as it gets for beauty and fun playing outdoors. Inside the cabin, the kitchen is clean and spacious so’s easy to cook in. The collection of dvds was fun for parents and kids to relax. This is a perfect quiet getaway retreat! We will repeat!

We had 3 couples from our family and 6 children, ranging from 2 to 11. There was plenty of room for all and we had a great visit. The kids loved the pool. The adults liked it also. This home is up to date and we'll equipped. We would definitely come here again. The host was extremely helpful and great to work with.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

We were at Auburn area for a wedding, so only stayed a couple of nights. We received good instructions and the place was easy to get to. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. It is also conveniently located near lots of restaurants and shopping. John regularly communicated with us and even allowed us to check in a little early. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hart House. The craftsmanship of the home is truly spectacular and we felt so comfortable there. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make delicious meals. We enjoyed the outdoor space and soaking in the hot tub. Truly a special gem of a home. Thank you for everything! We hope to stay again soon.

Overall we had a wonderful experience especially given the fact that we needed a place to book last minute. Our host was very accommodating and very quick to respond and clear on instructions. The place was very cozy and beautiful. The color scheme was well done. We enjoyed the quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back to stay again 10/10 recommend you book!

This is our second time staying at Jessica and Steve’s home, and it is one of our favorite getaways. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and are happy to provide local recommendations, The property is incredibly green and beautiful in the spring, and the stay itself is peaceful, well-appointed, and a great place to relax. The owners have recently added a fire pit just outside the Airbnb that is a great spot to stargaze and make some s’mores. I have greatly enjoyed my stay here, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Jenny's place was perfect for me and my little dog. We loved the walking paths and the friendly neighborhood. It's just a five-minute drive into town so very convenient. I will happily stay at Jenny's again.

A repeat stay for us to visit our grandkids. Perfect, peaceful, plenty of snacks (so much appreciated!). All the things that make a home away from home. We look forward to our next visit! Thanks so much!

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

This place is incredible. I took my teen sons primarily for an outdoor fishing experience. They caught 5 bass and a handful of bluegill! This property is in a beautifully safe neighborhood, better than the pictures, so relaxing. We bbqed and fished. The part of the house where you would stay feels like a completely separate house. Extremely clean, very “homey”, modern, stocked with supplies that we didn’t use. More than you need! No kitchen top stove but they do have airfryer, portable stove and 2 bbq pits! Many places to lounge and do. We didn’t even get a chance to play basketball or enjoy everything- kids wanted to fish and be on the water with the kayaks provided- We would absolutely visit again… Many stores close by This place would also be perfect for a couple get away!
