Great location. Beautiful inside! Beds really comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

My sister and I had a lovely stay following a bereavement . Jess was very thoughtful as we arrived to a sympathy card and some chocolates . Was very accommodating with holding our booking whilst a family member was poorly . Wortley Barn was the perfect retreat for some much needed time and space.

Excellent stay as always at Kelly's place. Great value, very comfortable, and with the added value of the pub next door.

Excellent property, very clean with everything we needed. Slight issue but Karl was around quickly to sort it out even though it was a bank holiday weekend! Nice quiet area approximately 15 mins walk from the centre. Would definitely go back if we visit Doncaster again.

Colin's place was lovely, we felt right at home! Loved all the quirky collections around the house. Everything in the house was clearly thought out especially the binder! It had everything from house manuals to places to eat and explore around Thurlstone/Penistone. The location was an ideal base for nature walks/hikes as it's only a few steps from trans-penine trail. It was lovely to meet Colin on our way out too!

Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Angela's Mallard Cottage is spectacular! A four-storey beautiful, welcoming house that provided everything we needed for a special birthday celebration. We had ample space with the choice of comfortable bedrooms, the relaxing living room, a well-stocked kitchen space, and ambient garden with hot tub and bird song overlooking the trees and sunny skies. We couldn't have wanted for more! We loved the duck themed decor and the little touches everywhere to welcome us - the generous basket of food and drinks, a birthday card and chocolates, dressing gowns and slippers. What made it extra sweet was the fact we had our previously booked property cancelled at short notice that morning and so Angela and her team pulled out all of the stops to get the cottage prepared for us in a few hours. It saved the day and meant we'll always have beautiful memories of the weekend spent with old friends, in the cottage and the surrounding hillside walks.

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

An excellent and very pleasant place to stay, at a good price. The accommodation was thoughtfully presented, and pristine – the high standard of cleanliness was much appreciated by us. The buildings, the farm, the village and the surroundings are all wonderful and we felt most fortunate to be there. Our hosts were very pleasant too. Lovely stay, cottage is hard to find at first as the address listed doesn’t take you directly to it. There is no parking for the property however parking is available on the road adjacent or in the village which is just a 2 minute walk. Some gifts were left which were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfy. The cottage felt very homely and was full of all the basics you need for cooking and cleaning etc. Overall very nice stay compared to some of my previous trips and I have recommended the cottage to family and friends.

Four generations of our family enjoyed a memorable weekend at Harlequin Cottage. Finding somewhere to suit toddlers, the elderly and a dog wasn't easy but this felt like home from home. Angela fielded an array of questions from my family with patience and provided a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the flock of wooden ducks, the toiletries and views.

Nice place, lovely location. Well decorated - particularly liked the school desk coffee table. Only issue was the lockbox key, the airbnb code was wrong. But I called Kirsty, She was very helpful and it was sorted very quickly. Great place.

Perfect place to spend bank holiday weekend and meet with all the family. Plenty of space for children to run around and a brilliant open plan area. thank you for a fantastic stay particularly as it was a last minute booking.

Was working at Sheffield Utd FC hotel so perfect location. Good access into the city, parking free. Wifi down but that was the only query otherwise all great!

A very comfortable and conveniently located house in a very quiet area in Sheffield. I was able to drive to and from Sheffield city centre quickly and with no issues. The house is exactly as described, very cosy, clean and with everything you might need. It’s in a quiet location with friendly neighbours and has a nice garden. Richard was a great host who was very communicative and happy to answer any query. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will hopefully be back next year.

The house is in a great location for exploring Castleton and the many local walks. Inside Jen has ensured that the house is appointed with everything you could need and the attention to detail makes it feel very homely. Would certainly come back.

This was the perfect stay and had everything we needed and in a great location. Very clean and tidy and felt right at home straight away. The outside seating area was perfect to have breakfast in the sun. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. It was a fantastic first experience also for my son to feed the checking, and collect and eat their eggs. Thank you for welcoming us.
