Maria is a fantastic host with an amazing space, perfect for a couple of nights with all the facilities and amenities someone would need. Very accommodating and would definitely stay here again.

We always stay with Gill when we’re over in Bedford visiting our family. Her place is convenient, homely and ideal for us, and is great value for money. Gill is so lovely and welcoming, and she even brought down books and toys for our daughter, and left an Easter egg and bunny for her on the Sunday. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town, thanks Gill!

I found the Annexe was within walkable distance to Harpenden about 25 mins which is great on a fine day ( local taxis are available and not expensive ). You can walk via the Common or via Rothampsted Park both pleasant. Trains to London are fast and frequent and a combined tube and bus ticket is very flexible. The booking office staff are very helpful too . We went to Windsor on one day to which was less than an hours drive away . Eileen is a perfect host and will assist in anyway possible . oh yes the Annexe was lovely and warm ,we were free to come and go as we please and . Suited our needs very well . Would recommend

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

Homely corner for exploring the local area, thank you Roddy and Mrs Roddy (and Winston the Labrador!) for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome, and the breakfast things and snacks were a nice touch.

Stayed here for a few times and it always has been an amaizing place to stay, Chris and her husband are excellent hosts.

This place is more than worth the value and is a wonderful quiet peaceful location, with countryside views and facing the sunset all very clean and tidy was a pleasure to stay .

William is a super host. seeing is spectacular and place is spotless. the cottage is on the small side, but that is clear from the listing...

Absolutely beautiful place! Sadly we missed the sunset but I imagine we would have got a beautiful view of it from sunset lodge! Peaceful and quiet! Enjoyed a tea sat outside in the morning with company from a deer. Gorgeously presently place. Everything we needed. Thank you so much! Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

My 2 adult children and I spent 3 nights at the Hideaway for a long weekend in Cambridge. We had excellent communication with Isabel throughout, and a very warm welcome on arrival. We were blown away by the tankard of the accommodation, it’s immaculate and beautifully appointed (we actually wondered if we were the first ever guests!) we really appreciated the provisions and treats, enough for breakfast for every morning and ample tea, coffee etc. We were very comfortable and relaxed while there. It was great to be able to park right outside and it felt very private and secure. Many thanks, Isabel and Rod, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Hideaway or to return in the future ❤️

Got to say, it was a wonderful stay! Magnificent apartment. Had everything that I needed for the week and more. I was welcomed by the host Rosa and her husband, they were very polite, very welcoming and great hosts. Rosa personally showed me around the apartment, showed me where everything was and how everything worked and explain things. It’s a very nice location very quiet village surrounded by lovely farmland ideal for anyone who’s is looking for a stress free and quiet rest from life. Rosa is a great host, constantly checking up on you through text or personal. Making sure that everything is fine with your stay and if there’s anything that you need or she can help with throughout your stay with them. Highly recommended and if I am in the area again, I will definitely stay there again without doubt

Well what a perfect little place!!! So welcoming and cozy Lots of extra little touches such as Gaviscon(!!) and tea bags biscuits etc. The bed was really comfy and the surroundings were so peaceful We really loved our flying visit and we are sorry we didn’t have longer to chill in the patio area! Thank you again I hope we will be back to visit soon

This is the third time we have stayed at Thomas’s place and we had had another great experience. It is a lovely property in the heart of the countryside with excellent facilities.

We really enjoyed our one night stay in Theresa’s loft apartment. Very comfortable (especially the bed!) Perfect location with off street parking. Charmingly furnished. Very homely feel. Would definitely recommend!!!
