Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). The Cot, Characterful 400-year-old Cottage.

Beautifully restored 400-year-old cottage, smallest house in Lymington, an ideal cosy retreat for couples complete with a peaceful private garden. Close to the historic coastal town of Lymington and railway station, an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history plus interesting architecture much of which is Georgian and Victorian. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with king size bed. It also includes a lockable undercover storage for two bikes.

The Stables offers a high quality comfortable and unique retreat in the New Forest. It has rustic charm with country modern facilities and is situated in a peaceful rural lane which leads directly onto the forest. It is very near to the coast and the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also find the Isle of Wight ferry terminal ( 30 mins crossing ) or charter a yacht and sail yourself. Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

The self-contained kitchen has all the necessary amenities, as does the open shower room. Starlink wifi throughout!

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.

East Boldre, Beaulieu, New Forest National Park

New Forest View is situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park, with superb views and amazing sunsets, set in a small village with Country Inn. The stunning Hatchet pond is well worth visit at daybreak and sunset and just a short stroll away and be sure to take your camera! We are perfectly situated to visit Beaulieu, Lymington and Brockenhurst. Beautiful unspoilt beaches with views of the Isle of Wight. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, and those seeking peace and quiet.

Forest Edge Studio

It's just one step from our door onto the New Forest for nature and endless walks whilst the sparkling sea of the Solent shore is only one mile away. Our 'local' is the fabulous East End Arms and the market town of Lymington with its bustling Saturday market is 3 miles west. The well-appointed studio has it's own small enclosed garden within our garden and is a quiet haven, overlooking a small valley. (We are happy to accept well-behaved pets but by prior arrangement please).

Rustic, quirky, countryside... This house is well set up for two families or those who want to give older and younger generations some space apart at bed time. Two Sides Cottage is 200 years old and feels like it’s been in a time warp. The ‘other worldly’ feeling is rustic, shabby in places, colourful and eccentric. There is still a WWII Nissan hut and a ramshackle wooden stable in the garden.
