The Hilltop Hideaway was lovingly built in 2023 by newlywed hosts, Jake & Fran. With an emphasis on quality finishes & modern details, the space radiates a luxurious yet charming feel. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts of every kind. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

The Surf- Ocean Front-By the Beach- Outdoor Bath

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

We are located in a rural residential area near Sooke BC, just off the Galloping Goose Trail.
