great location and very safe

We loved our stay at Ramons place! Everywhere you look there are such cool details. We would recommend it to anyone! The grounds keeper, Wilmer, was an excellent host. As a word of caution, the restaurant just. down the road, MacDouglas, was terrible. Expensive and the food horrible. In Ocotal we ate at Llamarada del Bosque, Cinnamon Cafe and Casa Vieja and the food was great. Thankfully the area had cell signal because the house doesn't have wifi. Definitely would stay again!

This place is magnificent.. so peaceful. The whole goal of this farm is to provide work for single mothers which is amazing. It is an ADVENTURE getting here. You 1000% need a 4x4 with good clearance and don’t try driving it at night (like I did..). But please visit this slice of heaven. Note that power is provided by solar during the day then a generator at night for a few hours. Overnight there won’t be power which means the refrigerator will turn off (you should bring food and drinks with you as there is nothing nearby) WiFi is great here while the power is on too! Before checking in or after checking out … They have a store and restaurant about 30 minutes away which is a must too. Thank you all for being such incredible people. @SteveSaysGo

Excellent Airbnb, well-located and fully equipped. Very comfortable and quiet, surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Communication with Stephanie was very smooth, and she was always attentive to any questions.

Ich habe zum zweiten Mal bei Jorge gewohnt und es war "wie nach Hause kommen". Ich habe mich unheimlich über Details gefreut: Lucia hatte mir einen Korb mit Früchten aufgestellt, das Haus war mit schönen Blumen dekoriert. Dieses Mal hatte ich noch Zugang zu einem zweiten Patio. Alle Mitarbeiter und Jorges Familie sind unheimlich herzlich. David hat sich viel Zeit genommen, mir ein architektonisches Projekt auf dem Grundstück zu erläutern. Der Garten am Fluss ist herrlich und sehr gepflegt. Kurzum: Es fiel mir unheimlich schwer, heute abzureisen. Aber ich werde ganz sicher so bald als möglich wiederkommen. Wer ein schönes Haus im Grünen am Stadtrand von Esteli sucht, ist bei Jorge und seiner Familie genau richtig. Und wichtig...ganz toll ist noch das kleine Café mit Laden, in dem selbsthergestellte Lebensmittel, Tees, Kräuter und Holzarbeiten verkauft werden. Angeschlossen ist auch eine kleine Gärtnerei, in der es Pflanzen im Angebot hat.

L'aide apportée par Emmanuel, Raquel et famille lors de la préparation de notre voyage était très utile et appréciable. Détails des vols, organisation du voyage de Managua à El Natoso, conseils pratiques, soutien linguistique, contacts sur place, proposition de programme et de voyages, informations monétaires nous ont permis de commencer sereinement notre séjour dans le nord nicaraguayen. Après un voyage de longue durée, avec plusieurs escales, nous nous sommes reposés dans un hôtel proche de l'aéroport. Ayant accepté de bon coeur une assistance sur place, nous avons été pris en charge à la sortie de l'hôtel par Abraham, agriculteur à El Natoso. Les vacances et l'exotisme ont vraiment commencé à ce moment... ;-) et le voyage en bus (que nous recommandons) s'est déroulé sans encombre. À El Natoso, nous avons pleinement profité de l'aide d'Abraham et de toute sa famille pour des aspects logistiques et sociaux. En effet, en bonne partie grâce à eux, nous avons pu rencontrer de nombreuses personnes à El Natoso, El Jicaro et Jalapa. La nature est extraordinaire et la vie paisible. Les nuits sont silencieuses et sans lumières artificielles, c'est vraiment extrêmement reposant ! Les jours sont à volonté reposants (des hamacs installés un peu partout sur la terrasse nous ont bercés) ou grisants si on se laisse tenter par les aventures aquatiques, par les balades à pied ou à cheval, par les excursions à moto ou l'accompagnement des travailleurs dans les champs.
