Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of our shore on the Benjamin River Harbor. 2 seasonal cabins. 1 year round studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula, near Deer Isle, the cabins afford access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Southwest Harbor Cottage

Enjoy unparalleled views of bustling Southwest Harbor and the beauty of Acadia National Park from the comfort of Eagle's Nest. Perched on a granite cliff, this thoughtfully designed little home provides for your every need. For anything else, take the ten minute stroll into the village, where you'll find plenty of local shops and restaurants. You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

Lamoine Modern Guest House

Relax, recharge, & escape here. A unique & peaceful guest house in the woods of Lamoine, Maine with large windows (without coverings) looking out to the woods. Close enough to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park (45 min) but removed from the chaos. A 10-minute walk down a gravel road to a beach in Lamoine with distant views of Acadia National Park. Enjoy all weather with our new wood stove fireplace surrounded by large windows. We have a comprehensive guidebook for our guests upon check-in.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Manset Rock Cottage: A Coastal Retreat on MDI

Nestled on Mount Desert Island’s Quietside, Manset Rock Cottage offers breathtaking views of Acadia National Park, Southwest Harbor, and the Western Way. SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Schoolhouse, a Boutique Home & Writer's Studio

A former schoolhouse reimagined by NYC architect Wake Design, this Scandinavian-modern retreat sits a block from the harbor on the serene "quietside" of Mount Desert Island. A separate exterior dwelling offers guests a private escape for work or solitude. Inside, Bosch and Café appliances, Ann Sacks tiles, custom woodwork, original local art, and the finest linens reward every glance. Vespa charging and parking for two.

Birdhouse cabin in Acadia, 5 minute walk into town

Charming 3 bedroom, 1 bath traditional wooden cabin situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and groceries. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land.
