Custom built, hand hewn log cabin. Completed late September of 2018, everything about this home was completely personalized. Nestled on an 11 acre pecan orchard, the cabin offers the best of both worlds with that country cabin feel while at the same time being only minutes away from the commerce of US Hwy 27. 5 minutes to the Fishing Creek Boat Ramp and 8 minutes to Lee's Ford Marina. Fishing Creek Cottage overlooks Fishing Creek, a popular recreational area on Lake Cumberland and a major arm of the lake. Pulaski County Park and its beach and boat ramp can be seen across the lake. Boaters frequent the area to ski & tube, but are distant enough that noise isn't an issue. We are the last house at the end of a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, & so have relative privacy. The large deck and impressive view are frequently referenced in our guests' reviews.

Small cabin close to town

Cabin was built by my grandparents about 40 years ago using timber cut from the land. Cabin is about 5 miles from town but feels country. Road is quite, with just local traffic, local being the people that live on the road. Very quite setting. Great place to relax where ever you find yourself, wither it is in the house, on one of the porches, or in the yard. House also has a fire pit in the back yard, & a charcoal gill if you want to grill out. We are pet friendly!
