We had been looking for a private vacation spot on a lake that would accommodate our intergenerational family of 8 and 2 pets for a few years. Sweetwater Cottage was worth the wait! The long backyard and raised screened in porch made for exquisite views of the sunsets while our kids and dogs played. Quiet lake and neighbors made for an equally perfect spot for early morning fishing and afternoon naps while listening to the loons. We caught several bass, lake trout and even a landlocked salmon out on our flat bottom boat, and the kids were endlessly entertained by catching sunfish off of the dock. The provided paddleboards were a favorite. We even paddled out to the small island where we got up close to a Bald Eagle's nest and took turns jumping off the small wooden platform on a rope swing. The house was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and a sectional couch that fit our whole family for game nights. Lots of great memories and photos made. We can't wait to return!

The lodge was very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing, peaceful vacation in a very private setting. Beth and Rob were very responsive to our questions, which were few due to the volume of information they provided. a rustic fishing camp on North Pond. Beautiful views of the water. Bathroom has been updated, nice shower with good water pressure. Arrived the middle of October, the propane heater was enough to keep us warm at night. Less than 25 minutes drive into Waterville. For those familiar and comfortable with the simple lake cabin life. We enjoyed it.

Another perfect stay at what has come to be a home away from home for us. We've been coming here for years and are so grateful for the memories we make together in this little piece of paradise. Thank you, Chris, for always being an outstanding host.

Fantastic beautiful surroundings, across from a lakeside park. Quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors. A-frame perfect for couples or even if you have 1 or 2 kids - there is a loft upstairs. Lots of paths and roads for walking. It was very cozy and comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heather's charming Airbnb on Moosehead Lake, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty of the location and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the cabin. The cabin itself is an absolute gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for while retaining a rustic, cozy feel. We particularly loved the spacious deck overlooking the lake, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watched the sunset every evening. The wood-burning stove in the living room was perfect for those chilly Maine nights, adding to the cozy ambiance. Heather was an exceptional host—attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. She provided detailed recommendations for local activities, dining options, and hiking trails, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

We had a wonderful stay at Patsy’s place, we did not want to leave! It’s even better than the pictures—charmingly decorated, beautiful setting, and all the comfort amenities. WiFi was excellent, the smart TV reception was great, the kitchen is nicely stocked with multiple cooking options (oven, microwave, crock pot, air fryer), the beds are comfortable, and the view through the living room window is so peaceful we had a hard time tearing our eyes away from it. Patsy is a great hostess and has added lovely touches to the cabin so that people will feel at home. We loved the decorations! She even arranged fishing poles when she learned that my husband loves fishing. We hope to return to Maine for another visit (so much left undone!), and will definitely seek to return here - we want to come back!

Here for work- We loved this cabin- it was out in the middle of nowhere which was peaceful and beautiful! The cabin was cozy- laundry is in a different building and you had to pay separate for it on an app but it was manageable.

If I liked this place so much in the winter… I can only imagine how amazing it is throughout the summer.

This is a great spot, convenient to lots of outdoor activities in the area. The studio has super comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen, and even some nice touches like throw blankets, books, and games for days you want to stay in and get cozy.

great place to relax for a few days! the cabin is cute and full of character. will definitely be our go-to spot when we stay in this area!

Michelle is an absolute outstanding host, her space is beyond beautiful and I wish I could live the rest of my days in that lakehouse. She was more than responsive, and very helpful and generous to us as guests. I hope to book this place again soon, because it’s definitely my favorite- great views, great furniture, and perfect kitchen and deck! Just absolutely gorgeous.

We had a group of 8 guys up for 2 nights with a rafting trip planned. All members agreed that it was the perfect spot for a group our size that intended to grill, sit around the fire, and have a few drinks. The location was super handy with short travel to the rafting companies. If you look at the pictures you will know what to expect. We were pleased with our experience.
